The Shell to Lindsey Stirling - Dragon Age

When love enters in who is to say the nature of fantasy

Another kiss, another wish, another moon passes its fancies on the flowers of the day

The Shell (poem)

It happened on a distant friendly shore
A moonlit wave had washed a conch aside
The sands of time a bed for shell and more
As dawn awoke the glistening of tide
And there she was to wonder at the sight
A maiden fare her beauty lost to tears
For in the twinkle hopes and dreams ignite
Of lover who went missing seems like years
He is a soldier in a distant land
But where it’s strange that no one seems to know
Was this the future that their fate had planned
Her prayers and sparkling ocean told her no
It’s then amid the sand she found the shell
She hoped to hear the sea’s familiar tune
Instead she heard a voice she knew so well
Who promised her that he will be home soon

Perhaps I should have told you listen to this while you were reading this story/sonnet
