A Tale Written In The Sand to

13 Things You Think Are True, But Aren't

From a love tale where you fill in the ending to tales someone always told us

A Tale Written In The Sand (poem)

The day I took my lover by the hand
And felt my future there within her eyes
A tale forever written in the sand
-
A dream beyond what stardust could have planned
The blossoming of splendor and surprise
The day I took my lover by the hand
-
And for our time the world we could command
We mingled mid the wishes in the skies
A tale forever written in the sand
-
Within our hearts was fashioned wonderland
Enjoying waves which stroked this paradise
The day I took my lover by the hand
-
Then struck dark ways so hard to understand
To tear a love with rains of vicious guise
A tale forever written in the sand
-
In dust from blight is heard a distant band
The reason that an angel softly cries
The day I took my lover by the hand
A tale forever written in the sand

To go with this villanelle: Richard Clayderman "Historia de un Amor"

The number of possible ways of playing the first four moves per side in a game of chess is 318,979,564,000. So much for useless facts, but as far as "not so useless facts"... CollegeHumor is a comedy website based in Los Angeles, California. The site features daily original comedy videos and articles created by its in-house writing and production team. CollegeHumor was created in 1999 (launched February 29, 2000) by Josh Abramson and Ricky Van Veen, with help from web developer Jakob Lodwick, but is now owned by IAC/InterActiveCorp. Beside the work on its very popular website, CollegeHumor is big on YouTube. As of September 2014 CollegeHumor had over 2.9 billion views and over 7.5 million subscribers.
Now CollegeHumor challenges what we think we know with: "13 Things You Think Are True, But Aren't"
