The Time Has Come to Beyoncé's Yours And Mine

Two retrospectives... one from a poet's dream, the other from a star

Yet if we listen closely we may find a sprinkling of ourselves

The Time Has Come (poem)

Just one more kiss to crown this dream filled day
A memory the stars will treasure so
The time has come at last for us to go
So that one moment ever can display
-
There were no words to draw the day we met
Who knew back then what fantasies would flow
The time has come at last for us to go
And let the wondrous seeds we planted set
-
The world its carpet at our feet was spread
We were enchantment others came to know
The time has come at last for us to go
For hidden isles are waiting our ascent
-
And not a tear to darken Joys we shared
Just lasting sighs as lovers’ breezes blow
The time has come at last for us to go
To be in paradise we have prepared

I thought this song was fitting: Elvis Presley "Memories"

It was believed in the Philippine jungle, the yo-yo was first used as a weapon. Recently, archaeologist into the history of the yo-yo suspect this might not be true. Meanwhile back on earth, Beyoncé shares a somber, honest message in "Yours and Mine". "When you're famous, no one looks at you as a human anymore. You become the property of the public. There's nothing real about it." To celebrate the one year anniversary of the historic release of the self-titled visual album, BEYONCÉ, the superstar this released this moving black and white video. In it, Beyoncé illustrates her thoughts on being a celebrity, feminism, motherhood and marriage, with some insight into her childhood.
Watch, enjoy and reflect. "Yours And Mine"
