The Sun Now Sets to Star Wars Jedi Babies

From sweet memories of love to the madness of a sweet cupcake

Let this edition be a guiding path

The Sun Now Sets (poem)

The sun now sets on yesterday
Tomorrow’s dream aren’t far away
Another field where lovers stray
Awaits to hear what flowers say
-
Each kiss became a memory
A heartbeat for our mystery
So bound we faced our destiny
With only our two arms to flee
-
And so we took each yesterday
Thus fashioned our own mystery
And took our place in destiny
I saw them kiss the world would say
-
Was it real this memory
Which hearts of lovers took away
Mid moonbeams with no place to stray
And longing lips no cause to flee
-
Then jealous time did come to say
All that you had for now must stray
All but our love it took away
The sun now sets on yesterday

To go with this verse is the piano styling of Brian Crain "Memories of Love"

Which brings us to

A raisin dropped in a glass of fresh champagne will bounce up and down continually from the bottom of the glass to the top. What...!?
Anyway; In a kitchen far far away rests a peaceful sweet cupcake. Who knew the fate of this cupcake rests in unknown hands, The evil Lord Vader and his sister Princess Leia do battle over the future of the cupcake. But there is more. This viral video was created by Oscar Rene Lozoya II and features his little kids who use the Force of their imagination to bring this delight to life. Oscar is a successful assistant editor working for shows like "Chicago Fire". But what about the cupcake?
Let's find out by watching "Star Wars Jedi Babies - Crib Wars Episode I : The Baby Menace"

Soft Butterflies to babies' Stages Of Eating Ice Cream

First kisses, special memories, cuteness

All brought to this edition to bring a smile

Soft Butterflies (poem)

Reflection of kisses soft butterflies
A fragrant reminder takes to the air
My heart tries to tell me I am still there
Yet still I am somewhere lost in your eyes
-
Soft echoes of whispers satiny flare
As all that now remains takes to the skies
And if there was some doubt it quickly dies
Yet still I am aware this love affair
-
And time may play endless shadows and wails
And day by day tries to fade our delight
And jealous minds our young heart may spurn
-
Our vision here remains familiar sails
And if there is some doubt I’ll set it right
As kiss’s butterflies once more return

I ran across this song. I hope you like it: Maggie Sajak "First Kiss"

And now

I am blessed to have 2 children, Peter and Robin. When they were born neither of them knew the Bible, the world’s top-selling book, is also the world’s most shoplifted book. How could they? They were just born. But me, I can really relate to this viral video! Many of the scenes are replays of my children's past. Perhaps that is what helped it go viral. Others could also relate to this video too; Or memories sparked; Or just its heart warming cuteness. This video, by BuzzFeedVideo, was made to celebrate the 25th year anniversary of AFV (America's Funniest Home Videos).
Enjoy some ice cream, a memory, a kiss and "Stages Of Eating Ice Cream As Told By Babies"

A Common Melody  to Sainsbury's OFFICIAL Christmas 2014 Ad

Two hope filled reminders of the good buried in "mankind's" heart

"There will be a day..."

A Common Melody (poem)

A melody upon the sea
A silent voice that called to me
What did it bode it would not say
But from its spell I could not flee
-
That no one heard caused some dismay
Perhaps this fate was meant this way
That only I could feel the sound
While other people felt their day
-
So to the ocean I was bound
My thoughts were spinning so profound
What secret was awaiting there
What symphony makes my heart pound
-
Sweet music seemed to fill the air
And to all else I’m unaware
Till I then kissed the promised shore
To find what fortune had to share
-
But then the music was no more
Just faces wond’ring what it’s for
What set us drifting to this place
What special need did sea restore
-
And there it was upon each face
A special smile a special grace
That shared this common memory
That somehow vanished but this trace

I thought this song went well with this round: Diane Arkenstone "Voice Of The Sea"

Plus

Did you know Alabama was the first state of the United States to recognize Christmas as an official holiday, and the tradition began in 1836? The reason I bring this up is Sainsbury's (the third largest chain of supermarkets in the United Kingdom) Christmas ad for 2014 features an event which happened in World War I. 100 years ago, on Christmas, soldiers along the western front of a viscous war put down their weapons and met their enemies in peace... men just like them, fighting and dying for their leaders and their case. The short film is very moving and brings out a hidden truth.
Enjoy and reflect on "Sainsbury's OFFICIAL Christmas 2014 Ad"

A Cricket’s Song to the Ultimate Dog Tease

Misery throws its shadow around every corner and still there is hope

And with hope there is a smile

A Cricket’s Song (poem)

From somewhere in a summer’s moonlit night
A lonely song was searching for its mate
A cricket wondered why she was so late
And there amid that song my mind took flight
-
The cricket asked the moon to find her fate
And so the moon searched everything in sight
Yet as it searched it knew the lover’s plight
It thought the tears of sorrow could all wait
-
For somewhere was a lonely little bird
Now fought off tears to feed her family
The ways of life had shattered her dreams too
-
My heart was tossed within this song we heard
Somewhere somehow its chord as sent to me
And for this song I pledge my love anew

Keeping with the mood, here's Adele "Someone Like You"

Are you ready

George Washington's spy number was 711. Also, there was a none music viral video which got over 11 million hits the same day it hit YouTube. It was so popular that it was featured on ABC News, which helped to propel this already highly hot video. It starred Clark, a mixed breed dog, and his owner, Andrew Grantham. It became the model for countless other popular talking animal videos. "Talking Animals", Andrew's company and owner of this sensation, has put many other clever talking animal videos on YouTube, but none near as popular.
And guess who is back - "Ultimate Dog Tease"

It Is Your Day to Ghostbusters vs Mythbusters

Exploring our exceptionalism to the epic silliness of a mythic rap battle

What else could you ask for (except a couple of million dollars)

It Is Your Day (poem)

Don’t let a jealous world distort your view
There’s meaning to the sunshine of the morn
It is your day to make a dream come true
-
That glow which thrills its mirror cell is you
Just cast aside the falsehoods and the scorn
Don’t let a jealous world distort your view
-
Release yourself to all that you can do
Release yourself from chains which you have worn
It is your day to make a dream come true
-
Bring back the light of wonders which you knew
The heart which gave them birth is not yet shorn
Don’t let a jealous world distort your view
-
The fear which fills this doubt in you is through
Surrounded by the faith you now adorn
It is your day to make a dream come true
-
Now be the song which flowers will waltz too
Each splendor captured in your eyes reborn
Don’t let a jealous world distort your view
It is your day to make a dream come true

Along this theme - Mariah Carey "Hero"

Now

ERB or Epic Rap Battles of History is the team of Peter Shukoff and Lloyd Ahlquist. I'm not sure if either of them know the past-tense of the English word “dare” is “durst”, but ERB was premiered to the YouTube world on September 26, 2010. They boast 11 million subscribers and over 1.3 billion total views. ERB's worst videos still got over a million hits. Their more recent rap battles attracted 8 digits of hits each. ERB's latest viral video "Ghostbusters vs Mythbusters" would be doing much better now (over 3.6 million and growing) had fate not stepped in. Coincidentally, this video was posted at the same time Taylor Swift released "Blank Space".
With that bit of nerdy-wordy background enjoy "Ghostbusters vs Mythbusters. Epic Rap Battles of History Season 4"

Tale Of Lovers True to Taylor Swift's Blank Space

Two tales of the unexpected

With an extra song and a useless fact thrown in

(Keep in mind this poem is a round.
It has no beginning or end.)

Tale Of Lovers True (poem)

How did it start he didn’t know
But what this was won’t let him go
He prays for death so this will end
What was the wound which he must sew
-
He just had coffee with a friend
A quaint old shop just down the bend
They shared a cup of troubled brew
So troubled heart could freely rend
-
He heard a tale of lovers true
A tale which sadly now is through
Friend’s wife was having an affair
A fact that he already knew
-
What his poor friend was unaware
Was he who held her favored stare
Seeing friend’s pain brought thoughts profound
And as friend left he just sat there
-
Then from outside came awful sound
A screeching car had target found
He dropped regrets to rush outside
And found his friend there on the ground
-
And there amid the blood’s red tide
He fell to deed with anguish cried
And there began the endless flow
As one man lived another died

I chosen to go with this round Gregorian "The Sound Of Silence"

A useless fact away from why you're really here

The Automated Teller Machine (ATM) was introduced in England in 1965.
With that out of the way; it is no real surprise Taylor Swift's latest song, "Blank Space", would go immediately viral, as hot as she is right now. This video got over 5 million hits in less than 12 hours. Now one doesn't have be a Taylor Swift fan to get off on this very imaginative story line, directed by Grammy Award winning Joseph Kahn. Not to give the plot away, It has something in common with the poem (it is a round). Another interesting point: to avoid what One Direction ran into, Taylor Swift's people placed this in clear view for everyone - "No animals, trees, automobiles or actors were harmed in the making of this video."
With that out of the way (FINALLY) here is Taylor Swift "Blank Space"

The Candle to Monty The Penguin

For some the candle is going out while for others the candle still burns

Hope and memories are the candles of this edition

The Candle (poem)

Now that the candle has almost gone out
Is there some hope behind this empty doubt
To tell my dreams just what it was about
Which now welcomes tears to a heart devout
-
Remember the days when clouds drifted by
From troublesome rain warm hugs kept us dry
And all which we knew on love would rely
As each endless moment kisses apply
-
Our lights toward tomorrow never went out
There wasn’t a tear concern couldn’t dry
A haven on which our Joy could rely
A picture a thought of a love devout
-
What caused those people to join by and by
Was there a heartbeat which started a doubt
What sadness arranged this dark turn-about
Was there some need which I couldn’t apply
-
So here I sit with these echoes devout
Lost in memories which tear me about
While somewhere out there she faces her doubt
Now that the candle has almost gone out

I was lucky to find Falling Up "The Candle Was Gone"

Now

Walt Disney was afraid of mice. Take that Mickey. Speaking of mice or rather penguins, Monty the penguin is coming. Monty is a cute stuffed penguin toy created by John Lewis. John Lewis is a chain of upscale department stores operating throughout Great Britain. The chain is owned by the John Lewis Partnership. The first John Lewis store was opened in 1864 in Oxford Street, London. John Lewis is well noted for their Christmas ads. But no one had any idea how wild this viral video would be received. The video has passed 10 million hits and is't slowing down. It is expected (even now) that Monty and his sweetheart Mabel will sell out way before Christmas.
The commercial tells the story about a boy and his stuffed animal penguin friend named... well watch "John Lewis Christmas Advert 2014 - #MontyThePenguin"
