Drifting With Daises to Anchor's Dalai Lama Joke Falls Flat

Sometimes one feels the confusions of reality

As we are scooped up in the hidden winds of life

Drifting With Daises (poem)

Drifting with daisies a paradise lost
Searching the heavens whose will had I crossed
But here in this mire my soul is now tossed
With dream to return no matter the cost
-
Drifting with daisies a paradise lost
I asked the flowers where did I go wrong
I lie to my tears the pain won’t last long
Grasping at answers to help keep me strong
-
A silence in the wind bode my destiny
Searching the heavens whose will had I crossed
To face tomorrows just flowers and me
The wind touched my heart to lost memory
-
Once there were children with daisies would stray
I thought the kisses forever would stay
But here in this mire my soul is now tossed
Confused by the cloud which took Joy away
-
Hopeless the echoes which ruled all around
If this is the life to which I am bound
I shouted as I tossed daisies on ground
With dream to return no matter the cost

To go with this poem: Zamfir "The Lonely Shepherd"

And

Even today, with all our technology, meteorologists claim they're right 85% of the time (nature vs man). Perhaps this gives some insight into the mind of Australian anchor Karl Stefanovic. Karl had the privilege of interviewing the Dalai Lama. For some reason, Karl decided to open the interview by telling the Dalai Lama a joke. Though really funny, for all the wrong reasons, it was a decision that will not die. When the original video went viral (3 years ago) many others were anxious to jump on the band wagon by making copies of the video, not to mention other news programs that picked up on the story. Needless to say Karl Stefanovic was quite "the talk of the town." To make it worse, one of the many videos keeps surfacing to get more views and remind Karl of his decision that fateful day.
And here I am to join the recent upsurge of social media once more making fun of Karl Stefanovic and "Raw Video: Anchor's Dalai Lama Joke Falls Flat"

Dreams to Santa Claus Caught On Camera

What is a dream, really

Once we figure it out, we are free to live them

Dreams (poem)

Dreams
I can’t prove to you
Or tell you that they’re true
-
Dreams
If only we knew
What wonders we can do
-
Dreams
Who am I in my easy chair
This throne of my accomplishments
Telling you about all the...
Sharing with you all of the...
-
Dreams
Enchantment’s hue
Or just a madman’s spew
-
Things we thought were through
A sleeping hope renew
-
But
Who am I in my silly years
This throne of a life well spent
Recounting all the precious...
Memories of moments with...
-
Some things hold on to
Visions bearing your hue
-
Just an old one’s view
Picture promises drew
-
Of dreams
Dreams
Dreams
Dream

I bet you already know what song I've chosen. That's right "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes" performed by Bette Midler

Rumor has it the first department store to feature a visit with Santa was the J. W. Parkinson’s store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in 1841. But this didn't stop the Fisher family. 7 year old Evan has been a good boy all year. He really wanted to see Santa. His older brother and uncle (Santa) with the help of a Go Pro camera brought a dream to life. Evan's parent received the gift of seeing dreams unfold. And as this video goes viral, we see proof that we too can create dreams and bring Evan's Joy to others.
There was one down side to this whole story.
Rumor has it Evan only got 2 hours of sleep after "Santa Claus Caught On Camera!"

Promised Song to the WWE Superstar The Rock Singing

A love's song to a song sung well by a wrestling legend

And a great love song thrown in, to kiss by

Promised Song (poem)

Return to me those moments far away
Those glimpses of a far more founder dawn
Grand hopes and wishes dreams are built upon
Soft scented valley of a brighter day
-
It seems the curtains of my soul are drawn
To diverse portions passing in life’s play
Confusion holds me captive in its sway
I fear that one which once was me is gone
-
Returning shadows whispering so long
A yearning churning causes heart to sting
While burning doubt casts blindness to my sight
-
Then in the wind returns a promised song
Refreshing water of eternal spring
She takes my hand and kisses me goodnight

When looking for a song to go with this poem I stumbled on this: Light Of Aidan "Loving You"

Plus

Talk about useless facts, according to Beatles producer George Martin, Neal Hefti's catchy composition of the 1960's "Batman" Emmy-winning theme song inspired George Harrison to write the hit song "Taxman". Not so useless, Dwayne Douglas Johnson, better known as The Rock, was born in Hayward, California on May 2, 1972. He was a college football player at the University of Miami. After being dropped. The Rock (then known as Rocky Maivia) turned to wrestling. He gained major notoriety in the World Wrestling Federation (now the WWE) from 1996 to 2004. The Rock broke into the movies, The Scorpion King, in 2002. Not only was he paid  $5.5 million for his role (the monster), his fans wanted to see more of him. The Rock appeared, and starred, in many more films. Blah, blah, blah... I am a wrestling fan. This whole thing was just an excuse for A Rock fan.
I just wanted you to see The Rock's viral video "rock singing". He's pretty good.

The Door to Portal Trick Shots

The door of our fears; the portal of possibilities

Once the door is opened we may walk in a world of what might be

The Door (poem)

I feel its presence there beyond the door
A menacing unknown is after me
A something silent which won’t let me be
So in my room I find myself once more
-
It’s there my heartbeat presses constantly
I feel its shadow passing on the floor
Lost dreams within my soul begin to sore
As seconds pass into eternity
-
What evil holds me captive in my cell
What tortured terror lurks beyond my night
What mask of fear refuses to let go
-
Again a distant voice begins to swell
What hidden past has brought about this plight
If I don’t face my door I’ll never know

To capture the darkness of The Door: Sebastian Larsson "Into The Dark"

Dueling is legal in Paraguay as long as both parties are registered blood donors. And if you believe that, you may more than believe in a concept Corridor Digital came up with. Corridor Digital is a company located in Los Angeles who uploads short movies to YouTube every month. The key players of the company are Sam Gorski, Niko Pueringer and Jake Watson. Corridor Digital first started making videos in 2011. Now they have teamed up with the band Savant, and their song "Prototype" to bring use into a future of basketball trick shots. Together they have created this highly entertaining video, whether we like basketball or not. If we think the whole concept is far-fetched, look at "phone" in our pocket.
While we think that one through, here's "Portal Trick Shots"

Is There Magic to How Does A Homeless Man Spend $100?

The magic of love to the magic of human nature

Sometimes life is too real to be believable

Is There Magic (poem)

Is there such a thing as magic
I can’t tell you
For I have never seen it
-
I have never seen your favorite candy
And how your eyes light up
When you receive my special gift
You open it up
And there it was
You knew all along
-
I have never noticed you trying a dress
Dancing in front of a mirror
Looking ever at me
Does my heart take flight
Are you the vision of my dreams
You knew from the start
-
I have never felt a perfect day
A moment made just for us
To cast aside all those things less important
Than the glow of this while
Another memory
Shared by a fire
Flavoring kisses
You knew each minute
-
I have never heard the passion of music
Drawing us closer
Till we move as one
One heart
One soul
On purpose reaching for eternity
Ever
Timeless
You knew the whispers’ meaning
-
Is there such a thing as magic
I can’t tell you
For I have never known it

What could better to lead this lover to another kiss: Digital Analog Band "Mystical"

The Great Wall of China is the only man-made structure visible from space, until astronauts started looking for it. This video may amaze you. Josh Paler Lin was curious, what would happen if you gave a homeless person $100.00. Now, Josh assures us this video is not "staged". His original goal was to expose a darker side of homeless beggars. But, what he captured was a remarkable and beautiful experience. Fate brought Josh into Thomas' (the homeless man) world. What Josh saw, learned and felt in this experience changed him. He now wants to help Thomas and people like him. What did the homeless man do with $100.00?
He brought us something magic for Christmas Eve: "How Does A Homeless Man Spend $100?"

My Whispers to Funny Nativity (children choir)

Whispers of a past meet the sweet (yet loud) reality of a moment

A poem of hope, a video of Joy and laughter

My Whispers (poem)

Return my whispers back to me
Those silver stones of destiny
Which others blessed my eyes to see
That from restraints I would be free
-
Each dream at night an open door
Each lingered light which yearned for more
Was I the sight they waited for
Or just a might whose hopes restore
-
The stars in heaven danced for me
Hearts set adrift I offered more
We delved into worth wishing for
That for a time lost youths breathed free
-
As shallow winds rushed by our door
We dreams explored our destiny
A brand new flare our world to see
As fantasy some truth restore
-
From other’s hopes I soon was free
But our new dawn I couldn’t see
For it was past my destiny
Return my whispers back to me

To go with this verse I've selected Marga Sol "Goodbye"

Get ready

The Motown female group The Supremes, which dominated the pop charts in the 1960's, was originally called The Primettes. The choir in this video wishes to be unnamed; so does the church and anyone having anything to do with this video, for that matter. Sources suggest that the mother of the baby playing the baby Jesus shot this video. Why all this secrecy? You are about to find out.  The star of the video is an 8 year old angel (wings and all). But, she is missing one thing.
How long will it take you to find out what it is? "Funny Nativity"
(Well, maybe more than one thing)

Forgotten Fields to Freshpet Holiday Feast - 13 Dogs and 1 Cat Eating

As lovers grow old their ways become challenged and memories change

Or do they

Forgotten Fields (poem)

Forgotten fields now lost in snow
Which saw such Joy so long ago
When in our hearts such youth did flow
In music of I love you so
-
And smiles were ready to explain
The wonderment of each refrain
Of blossoms left there in our lain
In paradise which we maintain
-
We danced through life like gentle snow
And lavished in each sweet refrain
There hand in hand we met each lain
In meadows of I love you so
-
So long was life waves to explain
Of things we tried and had ago
As lane took us on odd new flow
What’s clear became hard to maintain
-
Now here we sit so lost in so
Two victims of pure passion’s flow
Rich memories not long ago
Forgotten fields now lost in snow

I hope this song and video will pluck at some heart-strings: Mantovani "Forgotten Dreams"

Now

Evidence suggests we burn more calories sleeping than we do watching TV. Sometimes we even dream things, like someone did for Freshpet. Freshpet is a manufacturer of food and treats for dogs and cats using all natural ingredients. They teamed up with the Humane Society of Utah to bring us this commercial, put together by Provo, Utah based ShareAbility. One goal of the project was to showcase some of the shelter animals awaiting adoption, according to a press release from HSU and Freshpet. The commercial is of a cat who hosts a dinner party for 13 dogs. Now, animal heads with human hands is nothing new. Neither is a group of animals interacting with one another. But, this commercial has one more thing going for it (or is it just me).
I watched this video and remembered people I ate with: "Freshpet Holiday Feast - 13 Dogs and 1 Cat Eating with Human Hands"
