Dance A Dream to Phillip Chbeeb and Renee Kester performing Slip

Whatever life throws in lovers' way - Dream, Live, Dance

Slip into the imagination of a couple as they take the next step

Dance A Dream (English sonnet)

We danced a dream amid the music’s glow
Through melodies of Joy without an end
Each twist and turn our kisses would transcend
As time became enchantment in our flow
The song of you heart’s splendor would ascend
Through movements of our passions letting go
Each word unspoken feelings came to know
As stardust from our heaven set our trend
But that was moment from uncertain past
When seasons set a tune for youth so grand
So certain of illusion there in view
Yet here we sit with life we have amassed
When music plays I still reach out my hand
So I may have just one more dream with you

(One might notice a heavy theme of dance in my work. Dance was important to Arlene. She spent many years teaching me. The lights went on, for me, the year we were married. As I continued to improve, I began to see dance's connection to life.)

To go with this sonnet, I turn to tango: Gotan Project "Amor Porteno"
(The dancers are Juana Sepulveda and Jarle Sandodden)

One more dance

There is a legend of a “Dancing Plague”of 1518. It was a mania that lasted a month and killed dozens of people in Strasbourg, France through exhaustion or heart attack, because they danced uncontrollably.  A lot more peaceful, yet with a similar level of fascination and excitement is Phillip Chbeeb and Renee Kester and their performance of Elliot Moss' "Slip". At first glance, it all seems like just another amateur dance video, but reviewers, who are still jumping on board, are calling this performance mesmerizing, haunting, beautiful, emotional and raw.
One last question: how many times did you watch this video? "SLIP | @PhillipChbeeb & Renee Kester | @ElliotMossMusic"
