And Here We Are to Drunk Test Prank

A message of hope in times of trouble

A prankster with a badge turns troubles into smiles

And Here We Are (repeating poem)

And here we are
A shining star
Without a scar
No fate to mar
-
Amid dark pools
Where evil rules
And hands of fools
Hold all the tools
And here we are
A shining star
-
A muddy stream
Without a gleam
Where poor men dream
Of self esteem
And here we are
A shining star
-
Cruel rivers flow
Through hearts of woe
Which hope did know
So long ago
And here we are
A shining star
-
And gutters fill
With lifeless swill
Who lost their will
In bitter chill
And here we are
A shining star
-
As strangers drowned
And pasts are ground
Regrets profound
They look around
-
And here we are
A shining star
Without a scar
No fate to mar

(This poem illustrates one of life's illusions; and fact. Each group of troubles is bad, but as the poem progresses, the repetition of bad ideas makes the next seem worse. It is like a series of misfortunes, we all have experienced. In the poem, this continues until the "shining star" affirmation disappears. Then it reappears! Not only that; the entire beginning idea rings out. - Arlene and I faced a lot of problems once we moved in together and we faced life's challenges. They can be quite daunting, as we all can agree. Luckily Arlene and I discovered, we were a team. Working and meeting each day as a team, with our individual talents, we could be more.)

From hope to smiles

According to The New York Times (April 19. 1987), it only takes 10 muscles to smile but it takes 100 to frown. But if we research the internet, we may have one more cause to smile. Lance Allen is back. This time without his father. Lance is a Los Angeles based actor, writer and comedian. The Los Angeles Police Department realized such a public relations success with Lance's last video, "Funny Father's Day Cop Prank!", they lent him another car and uniform and cut him loose again.
One has to wonder, after watching this fun video, how many of the victims suspected this was a prank. "Drunk Test Prank"
