Soft Are The Thoughts to Simply Delicious Shower Thoughts

A lover's thoughts flow to the seasoned thoughts of a different mind

It is hoped that is edition brings some food for thought

Soft Are The Thoughts (Martin verse)

Soft are the thoughts thinking of you
Wonder of life my dream come true
Beat of my heart purpose renew
Timeless the Joy you guide me through
-
To every hope you hold the light
Whispers of beauty you incite
Wishes are themes which you hold tight
And what is me holds you in sight
-
Was there a time empty of you
Kiss of a breath you did incite
Moments were made to hold you tight
Magic of you I marvel through
-
Shadows may come to claim my light
To challenge faith promises true
And when I’m down purpose renew
Blinding the lies tempting my sight
-
I turn to you to hold me through
My journey in you to renew
To wonder in what I hold true
Soft are the thoughts thinking of you

Here is the mystical sounds of  Azam Ali "In Other Worlds"

To

The name for Oz in the "Wizard of Oz" was thought up when the creator, Frank Baum, looked at his filing cabinet and saw A-N and O-Z, hence "Oz.". Food for thought. Speaking of Food for Thought and while we are on the subject of thoughts, here is one of the big stars of Sesame Street to give us his thoughts. The star is Cookie Monster, a Muppet of few (mostly cookie-related) words. With the worlds of the Guggenheim Museum, the Metropolitan Museum, and the Museum of Modern Art around him, Cookie shares with us a few of his deep profound thoughts to ponder.
My mind and my stomach can't help but feel that there is a heavy emphases on food in Cookie's thoughts. "Simply Delicious Shower Thoughts with Cookie Monster"

Lovers In Time to Why moms get nothing done

Two riddles in time

One the timelessness of lovers - The other the timeless Joy of cuteness

Lovers In Time (free form poem)

Striding abiding with nothing to say
Time ever ticking just chipping away
-
Hiding misguiding its shadows mid morn
Just one more etching of worry is torn
-
Sitting and waiting holding you tight
Dreams of another melting with sunset
Joining the soft winds of all we have done
Searching for seasons which brought us here
Waiting
Waiting
-
Chiding dividing those moments so real
Changing the hard facts to mild mists of feel
-
Riding subsiding reasons for tears
Passing of heartbeats and passing of years
-
Still we are sitting with stars in our sight
Gazing at moments which have not passed yet
We have seen magic dancing in the sun
Splendor were seasons which brought us near
Waiting
Waiting
-
For the next kiss

And while we're waiting, enjoy Mike Murray "Downtime"

Then there's

"Obsession" for some reason is the most popular boat name. But don't obsess over that. Meet Esther Anderson and her daughter Ella. Esther is a Tampa, Florida mom who runs a website called "Story of This Life". She has also become a popular YouTuber. I think her popularity is not based so much on her advise and insights as a mother, but rather that we should enjoy this precious time. In Esther's most recent video she shares cute examples of why it seems moms get nothing done. There is another question being raised in this timeless video. Is nothing really being done...
Or are loving memories being made? "Why moms get NOTHING DONE"

Remember to Taylor Swift and Fallon JumboTron Dancing

Lovers and friends remembering those golden times gone by

Settling in the halls of precious memories - And yet

Remember (changing verse)

Remember when you strolled with me
And dreaming came so easily
A future filled with what can be
And all the world was ours to see
-
Remember how we set cares free
With smiles and sighs in constant view
As we made one more memory
Delighting in our fantasy
-
Each wish a kiss passed happily
Remember how we used to do
As closer and familiar grew
And time would come to claim its fee
-
Was this the promise we were due
Was this what all our Joy led to
Remember lest a dream is through
And tears will be our destiny
-
Soft morning brings a spring anew
I take your hand to know it’s true
For what is time for lovers who
Remember that I still love you

Do you feel like romance? Here's Michel Legrand Theme From "Summer of 42"

Plus

The cigarette lighter was invented before the match, and both were invented before the JumboTron. The JumboTon made its first big public appearance at the 1980 Major League Baseball All-Star Game. Sony credits its creative director, at the time, Yasuo Kuroki with its development. It seems that Taylor Swift and Jimmy Fallon (at least for this warm and funny skit) were big JumboTron dance partners in their time. Taylor and Jimmy bring their memories back to life for us by sharing some footage of themselves dancing on the JumboTron at New York sports games.
Strangely after enjoying this video, I was in the mood for popcorn. "Jimmy Fallon and Taylor Swift Jumbotron Dancing"

Now What Do You Want On Your Pizza to

When You Let Someone Borrow Your Pen

As you might suspect this edition is for the jokester in you

He Begged For More (limerick)

Each kiss and the man’s mind would gleam
His lips never met such a dream
Each placement he’d plan
Till next taste began
Let’s face it the man loved ice cream

Now What Do You Want On Your Pizza (limerick)

I ordered a large pizza pie
What do you want on it asked guy
His question a pearl
Set my mind awhirl
A sexy young girl answered I

She Knew What I Wanted (limerick)

My wife knows the way to her guy
For this I could nothing deny
When I would be shaken
By bills she’d be maken
A mountain of bacon she’d fry

Let's keep the laughs going with Lonely Island and Michael Bolton "Jack Sparrow"

To laughter

Strange but supposedly true, emergency rooms have seen an increase of physical injuries since the movie 50 Shades of Grey came out. A far cry from BuzzFeed's tale of a pen. the borrower and the lender. Here is a tale of two friends and a pen (an instrument we used to write with before the cell phone).  Watch and learn what happens When You Let Someone Borrow Your Pen. This has never happened exactly the same way to me, though I have lost many-a good pens. I did have 2 interesting evenings reclaiming my pens and pants from these young ladies, though.
But those were a different stories. "When You Let Someone Borrow Your Pen"

To The Wild Wind to Sexy Mascot

As a lover encounters the Wild Wind

A wild wind of a sexy mascot toys with the minds of passers by

To The Wild Wind (English sonnet)

What do I call this wild wind in my mind
A love or just a fleeting fantasy
Should I enjoy a dream or should I see
To what might be would truth be more refined
-
Do I love lady or what seems to be
Could kiss her touch her mood there be as kind
And would this something grow or set resigned
What is this wild wind she has loosed through me
-
And if I dare to find out what is real
Would desire see decline or change in theme
-
And if I dare to tell her how I feel
Would she remain the source of wonder’s gleam
-
And if I dare to wild wind heart reveal
Would I be happy with my chosen dream

You may have heard this song before. Here's Nina Simone's version: "Wild Is The Wind"

Wild

Rabbits are natural runners and can reach speeds of up to 30 to 40 mph. Rabbits - winds: confused? Let me explain. I was perusing for today's viral video. Did you know what is popular on YouTube depends on which country's YouTube you are viewing? Well, guess what the folks in Australia are laughing at. Yes, SNL's 40th anniversary, but what else? If you guessed "Just For Laughs Gags", you're right. Now, I don't care how wild those winds are, a rabbit costume gets hot. So you wear as few extra clothes while wearing one. (I know because I was a shopping mall Easter Bunny for 2 years.) This is a fact these passers by may have counted on when a beautiful young lady asked them to help unzip her costume. The prank might have stopped there, but "Just For Laughs Gags" takes it one step further.
Thank you to my friends down under. "Sexy Mascot"

Remember The Days to Celebrity Jeopardy

Two young lovers are brought back by a memory

As a memory is celebrated by those who meet again to laugh

Remember The Days (repeating verse)

Remember the days when kisses did flow
Two carefree lovers once put on a show
We were so happy and what did we know
Just hold this dream tight and never let go
-
Our love took us to the day we were wed
Remember the days when kisses did flow
As we set our plans for future ahead
And worries of day were cast from our bed
-
As we grew familiar we lost our light
The tiniest ember would start a fight
Remember the days when kisses did flow
For lovers like these now blind in the night
-
Now age restored glances of long ago
As memory’s winds were welcome to blow
The look in our eyes says I love you so
Remember the days when kisses did flow

Since memories are the theme of this edition. here's Andy Williams "Try To Remember"

Then there's

Here is a conundrum: Humans tend to remember useless facts far more than important ones. You can forget that if you want or if you can. But right now, it is hard to forget Saturday Night  Live. On Sunday, SNL celebrated its 40th anniversary. With a record breaking 23.1 million viewers it is hard to escape, even today, this piece of history on the news and social media. I can remember when SNL first aired. I was still going to college. My wife to be and I had just moved into our love nest. We didn't have the funds to go out dancing every Saturday. We did have a cozy blanket and Saturday Night Live.
One of our favorite routines was Celebrity Jeopardy. "Celebrity Jeopardy - SNL 40th Anniversary Special"

Cold Silence to Dr Phil with no dialogue

What was the silence that entered a room, that resolved a dilemma,

that is shaded in darkness, that is seasoned in ridiculousness

Cold Silence (Martin verse)

Cold silence was the answer it would take
When memories of summer made heart ache
And all tomorrow’s hopes began to shake
For from a dream alas I must awake
-
The streams of magic moment flowed so right
Rich realms beyond the sunset were in sight
And all tomorrow’s hope appeared so bright
For all which was danced in our glowing light
-
The splendors of each instance we would take
To stars which held our heavens there in sight
The streets which felt our footsteps all turned bright
And never was existence this awake
-
But darkness fell upon a world so right
Its breathing told how emptiness could ache
The solid love we shared began to shake
And with the slamming door extinguished light
-
Now here I lie to fates not yet awake
Within this pool I feel my body shake
The wounds from knife no longer do they ache
Cold silence was the answer it would take

To heighten the mystery of this verse here's Jerry Goldsmith's "Chinatown"

"Martin Verse" is a form of poetry I developed in 2010. If you would like more information leave a comment.

That said

Dr Phil was discovered by Oprah. That is this edition's useless fact. But Dr. Phil (Dr. Phillip Calvin McGraw) debuted on the Oprah Winfrey show in 1990 and got his own show in 2002. From  Vinita, Oklahoma, he attended the University of Tulsa and transferred to Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. Dr. Phil earned a M.A. degree in experimental psychology in 1976, and his Ph.D. degree in clinical psychology in 1979 at the University of North Texas. Now if you're not a Dr. Phil fan this was just some more useless facts. In this viral video, which is a compilation from an actual show, a couple with a problem come to Dr. Phil. All the dialog was removed. Strangely, even with all the words removed, the problem seemed addressed, worked through and resolved.  Were all the words, of the actual program, just useless facts?
Watch and if you have a laugh or two, that is not an useless fact. "Dr Phil with no dialogue, just reactions..."
