Bullets Of Forgotten Clouds to David Hasselhoff - True Survivor

Forgotten horrors are reforming

Forgotten hero returns to take his stand

Bullets Of Forgotten Clouds (free form poem)

Here were the bullets
Here was the pain
Here were the sacrifices of others
Paid for with truths
Invented at the tables
Of rooms most will never see
-
Spread out upon the floor
A stain recorded by accountants
Tears battling tears
Which cannot see the real morning
Only the entertainment they paid for
-
In a distance
Forgotten clouds were forming
No one saw them
No one cared
-
Here were the bullets
Here was the pain
Here was the placated masses
Asking questions
Finding holes in the fabric
Covering their beds
-
They are all around now
Those things that look like us
Hardly a tear
Horrors of another time
What madness has now made the blind
-
In a distance
Forgotten clouds are forming
High above an unseen wave
Put aside the book
Written by another
Meaningless
So meaningless

Now, what do you think I've chosen to go with this poem? Pink Floyd
"Another Break In The Wall"

Here comes

The voice of KITT, the Pontiac Trans Am, and later the Ford Shelby GT500KR. in the TV series "Knight Rider", was done by William Daniels. Speaking of "Knight Rider", guess who's back. No, not the the Pontiac Trans Am... David Hasselhoff. Who is David Hasselhoff! You must not be German. David Michael Hasselhoff is an American actor, singer, producer, and businessman. He is best known for his lead roles as Michael Knight in the series "Knight Rider" and as L.A. County Lifeguard Mitch Buchannon in the series "Baywatch". Kickstarter raised $630.000 to bring David Hasselhoff back in a mashup of '80s cop movies, kung-fu epics and action comedies - "True Survivor".
Besides the obvious, the video contains one great mystery. "David Hasselhoff - True Survivor"

More Than Magic to Tomska vs Oreo

The magic of lovers walking through the seasons of life

The magic of a wife and a cookie lead to a path of ruin and laughs

More Than Magic (lyrical poem)

They fell in love in springtime
In summer made each day
In fall they cherished moments
And winter went away
-
It was more than magic
At work to set the scene
Windswept dreams appearing
Made heartbeats so pristine
-
Timeless and eternal
Was instant that they kissed
So they passed dawn’s glory
Lavishing lovers’ mist
-
They fell in love in springtime
In summer made each day
In fall they cherished moments
And winter went away
-
Summer brought horizons
New wonders to explore
And all those youthful kisses
Fresh winds would blossom more
-
Each day was a promised
Adventures few have known
The blessing of the season
Seemed made for them alone
-
They fell in love in springtime
In summer made each day
In fall they cherished moments
And winter went away
-
Leaves of time began to fall
As they danced away the night
And cuddling by a fire
Their memories held tight
-
Two lovers on hilltop
With sun about to set
And there within a kiss
Was the day which they met
-
They fell in love in springtime
In summer made each day
In fall they cherished moments
And winter went away

(All you songwriters, who are interested in using these lyrics: I do not charge any royalties, only a copy of the song.)

While we're waiting for for your song, here's Anne Murray "Could I Have This Dance"

Oreo anyone

The first Oreo, or "Oreo Biscuit", was developed and produced on March 6, 1912 by the National Biscuit Company (now Nabisco) at its Chelsea, Manhattan factory. Now that you're an Oreo genius, here's Thomas Ridgewell (aka TomSka) and his wife, played by Hazel Hayes. Besides being beautiful, Tom's wife came home with every man's dream. She can turn anything into an Oreo cookie simply by pointing at it. There is only one problem. She has not... Let your laughter be your path.
I ask you one mire time, Oreo anyone? "TOMSKA VS OREO (feat. Hazel Hayes)"

Ways Of Hidden Flowers to БОНЯ И КУЗЬМИЧ - What?

The flowers to a lover's heart

Two flowers to unlock laughter

Ways Of Hidden Flowers (Shakespearean sonnet)

Warm secrets flowers whispered to the breeze
A serenade across a river flow
Which drift along toward timeless fantasies
Of treasured moments ever would bestow
-
Their glories flowers give to make the day
A Joyous splendor echoed by the sky
Another dream was fashioned in their play
Imaginations ever would live by
-
What wonders one may ponder leaves such bloom
What blossoms often shies away from eyes
The memories of ever will exhume
What ways of hidden flowers realize
-
So close your eyes and breath a wish come true
A secret scent which kisses me and you

More flowers: Al Marconi "Porcelain Rose"

More flowers

The flower nasturtium derives its name from the Latin nasus (“nose”) tortum (“to twist”), because its smell is so powerful that to inhale it was considered tantamount to having one's nose tweaked. But, laughter is sweet. As sweet as БОНЯ И КУЗЬМИЧ or Bonya and Kuzmich, a Russian comedy duo making their break-out on Youtube with their parodies. The guy in the back seat is reportedly just someone the duo piched up (and dressed up) to be in their in their video. If this video looks oddly familiar, these two Russian flowers said, "Girls SketchShe (3 Australian flower) - Thank you!!!"
I suspect we will see more love and laughter from these flowers. "БОНЯ И КУЗЬМИЧ - ЗА МОЛОКОМ (BONYA&KUZMICH - ZA MOLOKOM)"

Trail Of Yesterday to Sizzler Promotional Commercial 1991

Tired, one wanders a trail of yesterday

A commercial of a yesterday returns to haunt

Trail Of Yesterday (English sonnet)

We met upon a trail of yesterday
Which once was graced with flowers of all kind
And cares of spring were always on my mind
Where once was me created my own way
-
We talked about a path so well defined
Of castles built for future’s children’s play
Of teacher’s quilt to warm dreams as they stray
Where thoughts of me were never hard to find
-
But here we were upon the way of now
Ahead laid darkness of the said unknown
My way to wonder fatigue would destroy
-
The call of rest bore heavy on my brow
Was for this rest all pasts I walked were grown
And as I closed my eyes I heard enjoy

(This sonnet was intentionally written to draw a reader in and paint their own pictures.)

And as we dream away, here's: Annie Lennox "Into The West"

Talking about yesterday

In 1923, the first commercial neon sign was used to promote Packard automobiles. But, let's skip ahead to 1991. That was the year Sizzler came out with its iconic promotional commercial. This is the actual commercial and has not been doctored up. It was put on YouTube on September 3, 2012 and there it slept. Sometime yesterday (April 14), Kristin Hunt, a Food/Drink staff writer for Thrillist, brought Sizzler's commercial to her company. Several News agencies saw Kristen's article and watched Sizzler's "imaginative" pitch to the American people of 1991. Reporters' and writers' imaginations went wild, as this 2012 is now catching fire. In less than a day, it already attracted more views than it did since it was first posted.
Keep your eyes open and you will spot some very unusual things. "Sizzler Promotional Commercial 1991"

There She Waits to Haunted House Prank

A haunting tale of love

A haunted house of laughter

There She Waits (poem)

There in a special place set long ago
Where hearts were born in words I love you so
And ever’s kisses would begin their flow
Mid moments which would never lose their glow
At lovers’ gates
It’s there she waits
-
She wonders as so many times before
Will he still come to grace their heaven’s shore
The meaning scribed in nightly dreams restore
As flowers felt her hopes and wishes pour
With wind of fates
It’s there she waits
-
His life was one which rarely saw the light
Each breath he took was filled with deadly plight
His image caused so many grievous fright
That every instant had his end in sight
Yet in these straits
It’s there she waits
-
Was nothing which could stand in lovers’ way
No risk or danger which could pray to sway
The only purpose leading to this day
Whose endless kisses nothing would betray
In truth heart states
It’s there she waits
-
Not long before their meetings got around
And ageless lovers’ special setting found
The rain and lightning shrouded bullets’ sound
Which left her slowly dying on the ground
Where all negates
It’s there she waits

I hope you find this song as haunting as I did: The Swingle Singers "Dido's Lament"

Then there's

The real Amityville "horror house", made famous by the 1979 film "The Amityville Horror", went on sale and was sold in 2014. (It wasn't demons, but a divorce which forced the owners out.) I wonder if the real estate agents had as much problems as the ones brought in by Sky Living. Sky Living is television brand and channel owned by Sky plc available in the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. Back in 1977 a small house in Enfield, London made newspaper headlines worldwide for being haunted. Sky Living, via a kind old grandmother, some hidden cameras and some well hid and rigged movie magic, got some real estate agents to come in and estimate the property.
Believe in ghosts or not, put yourself in their place as you enjoy: "Haunted House Prank"

Moon Take Me Back to Stephen Hawking Sings Monty Python Galaxy Song

While a lover begs the moon to take him back

Monty Python blasts Steven Hawking into outer space - Singing!

Moon Take Me Back (free form poem)

Oh moon beyond tomorrow in her eyes
Take me back to linger softly midst those days
A fragrance so familiar filled the air
And hearts were flushed by touch of satin veil
-
Each mist
A drift
A wish
Fulfilled
-
The promises
Unshaken now
The timeless now
Each sigh-filled now
-
Oh moon if your heart still beats
As when those promises were etched
Into souls
Cast in time
To a place
Take me back
-
In her eyes was everything
Searching for dreams to born
Into days
Beyond this
Endlessness
Take me back
-
Beyond tomorrow till now
When those unshaken promises were made
To live amid the air of always
Sailing through a sea of always
With every star a kiss of always
Take me back
To where I am

To go with this escape, enjoy: Gary B "The Moon"

Next

For a long time astronauts were not allowed to eat beans before they went into space because passing wind in a space suit damages them. (The report wasn't clear, if they meant the suits or the astronauts.) Meanwhile, for their Reunion Shows the Monty Python gang took their zaniness to the next step. In 1986 Monty Python's "Galaxy Song," was made famous in the comedy troupe's movie "The Meaning of Life," Now, instead of Eric Idle, who was the lead singer, the troupe shot Steven Hawking into space. In the video Monty Python some moments of the show, some glimpses into the past and the making of the Steven Hawking version of "Galaxy Song".

The Phone Call to Baby Talks to Dad on Phone

What is worse, a lover's phone call that never comes

Or a phone call you can't understand (but incredibly cute)

The Phone Call (sonnet)

Upon a moment waiting restlessly
She lingers every heartbeat oh so dear
Each second of a lifetime does she clear
As she awaits a voice to set her free
-
She felt his solemn promise of a call
As kisses cast an ending to the day
And hand of fate would carry him away
The memory stays written on her wall
-
And as her stroke of midnight coldly nears
Her doubt creates a highway for her fears
Her hope is cruelly taken by her tears
As emptiness betrayal song she hears
-
There deep in sleep some gentle mercy brings
A phone left by her side now softly rings

(You may have noticed the third quatrain breaks the typical sonnet rhyme scheme. This was done as an ostinato of the girl's frustration.)

To go with this sonnet I've chosen: Secondhand Serenade "Your Call"

Plus

Want to pump up the volume of your cell phone? Some say, put it in a bowl. The bowl's concave shape, they say, amplifies sound. Speaking of cell phones, look who is back. This cute little angel is talking with her dad. This video was shot years ago but it is making a resurgence. It seems there is a growing interest in the old classics. Along with Facebook, this video is now featured on viral video websites.
What is real interesting: though she can't talk yet, she already knows how to use a cell phone. "Baby Talks to Dad on Phone"
