It Wasn’t Me to Christina Aguilera: Master of Impressions

Maybe it wasn't him who caused a lovers' rift

But is was Christina Aguilera behind the laughter of her impressions

It Wasn’t Me (lyrical poem)

It wasn’t me who broke your heart
Made teardrops start
Tore this apart
Upset the cart
-
It wasn’t me who brought the rain
Which flowed from pain
Each sad refrain
We can’t explain
-
Or was it just our time
No reason for our rhyme
A call from distant chime
Confusion so sublime
-
It wasn’t me who cast the night
That doused our light
No hope in sight
Just soulless flight
-
It wasn’t me who brought this end
Our love to rend
We can’t pretend
Will ever mend
-
Or was this meant to be
Our written destiny
A fate we didn’t see
Confusion now set free
-
It wasn’t me who lied to you
Who was untrue
This stranger who
Did this to you
-
It wasn’t me

(We love each other so much. And then a fight breaks out. When the smoke clears, we wonder, who were those people?)

And who can express this better: Carpenters "Hurting Each Other"

Are you ready for this

Before her shows, the super-star Rihanna has a tendency to sneak out into the audience in an oversize hoodie to disguise herself. Let's back up a little bit. The Voice is a reality singing competition. It premiered on September 23, 2013. Christina Aguilera is one of the show's judges, along with Cee Lo Green, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. There are rumors the cast of of The Voice are not happy with Christina and want to replace her. So along with that useless fact about Rihanna, Christina put together this audition video for the open position, with people who look a lot like Miley, Britney, Sia, Shakira, Lady Gaga and Cher, starring (who else) Christina Aguilera.
Now, who would you choose? "The Voice 2015 - Christina Aguilera: Master of Impressions (Digital Exclusive)"
(If you said Christina Aguilera, you might be...)

The Family to Super Kids Epic Showdown

In bounty or plight there is strength in a family

Add some super powers to a family and you may have a viral video

The Family (transforming poem)

Within the warm of family
The season’s Joy they’re blessed to see
A time they can together be
And share the year’s prosperity
-
Around a fire they laugh with glee
And raise their glasses gratefully
There in the cold and bitter night
They sing familiar melody
-
With table set so carefully
A family shares a tragic plight
For them there is no Joy in sight
Their places set comfortably
-
With no food for their appetite
They find some shelter mid dim light
They gain some comfort holding tight
They all give thanks for their bounty
-
How did their riches turn to blight
Perhaps the dawn will set thing right
While in the distances songs so bright
Soft tears recall once was delight

(There are two mysteries embedded in this poem. One is: are there two families or just one. The other is: although "hope" is not directly mentioned, the poem seems to ring with it.)

My taste in music changes from daily, so it is hard to pin me down on my favorite song.
Ask me what my favorite hymn is: Jean Sibelius "Be Still My Soul"

Let's add to this

The consumption of natural vanilla causes the body to release catecholamines (including adrenalin), thus for this reason it is considered to be mildly addictive. What? Enough about supper facts and on to super facts (or fiction). Meet  Daniel Hashimoto and his family, his wife Mandy, James his son and the new addition Sophia. You are probably wondering why the police SWAT team has  Daniel's house surrounded. It has something to do with the his kids.
Follow the challenges in a day of the Hashimoto family, "Super Kids Epic Showdown | Action Movie Kid Has A Field Day"
(Did you catch Field Day's, the producer of this video, hidden message?
Clue: It has something to do with the power of youth/children.)

This Moment to The Dangers of Selfie Sticks

First we explore the moment of lovers as it expands and intensifies

Then we ponder the perils of selfie sticks as a world gone wild captures one more moment

This Moment (expanding contracting poem)

When
And then
It will start
A beating heart
As moods awaken
Feelings unmistaken
Anticipation growing
Amid the wild dreams now flowing
Passion promises something that’s new
But for this moment all cares come from you
But for this moment what is really true
Here in this moment timeless rendezvous
And for this moment flowers dawn their dew
Passion’s promise dreams already knew
Where our memories are growing
That’s were we now are going
And heaven was shaken
By chances taken
Playing our part
With our heart
Open
Then

It is my pleasure to share with you the classical guitar styling of Ana Vidovic as she performs
Rex Willis "Serenata del Mar"

A moment for a PSA or a laugh

According to a 2013 British survey, 36% of 18 to 24 year-olds admitted they altered their selfies before posting. Now the selfie stick, or the "Narcisstick" as some call it has been around in America since 2011. Canadian inventor Wayne Fromm patented his version , the "Quik Pod", in 2005. Today, Pizza Hut has thrown its hat into the ring with a PSA (Public Service Announcement). The famed pizza maker is concerned about the safety of the selfie stick and wants people to know. Pizza Hut even blames selfie sticks for the creation of a new product (pizza). With its PSA video, Pizza Hut not only warns of the hazards of the selfie sticks themselves, but the addictive nature of the sticks on the users.
If we can't trust a pizza company, who can we believe? "The Dangers of Selfie Sticks PSA"

Butterfly Carry My Tears to Miley Cyrus' tribute to Pablow the blowfish

A lover turns to fantasy to reconnect with one lost

Miley Cyrus pays last tribute to friend who gave her joy

Butterfly Carry My Tears (Shakespearean sonnet)

Oh butterfly won’t you carry my tears
To valley were dreams await to come true
And grant a flower this blessing of dew
A kiss of rainbow as sunshine appears
-
Float in the luster of legend of stars
Let your wings feel what eyes cannot see
And learn why my heart there always will be
In splendors of moments magic of ours
-
A cold bitter season took her away
And left me to ponder rivers of time
Grasping at answers which I cannot climb
But one lasting Joy I shall not betray
-
So butterfly dancing mid the sky
Please take my love these gems of times past by

To go with this sonnet I've chosen an instrumental rendition of Santa Esmeralda's
"You're My Everything"

Have tissue nearby

Miley Cyrus grew up on a ranch in Tennessee and started riding horses at the age of just 2, which might help to explain her deep love for animals. It is rumored, Miley is vegan (except for shrimp). She owns and has cared for pets all her life. One of them was named Pablow. Pablow was Miley's pet blowfish. (Get it? Pa"blow" - "blow"fish.) Pablow just passed away and Miley put together a tribute for her friend. Celebrity news sites got hold of Miley's song and Pablow became the most famous blowfish in history. Plus, there might be more to this show of emotions than a fish, a pet, a friend.
Now, before you think this whole thing is a joke or a publicity stunt, watch the video. "Miley Cyrus sing a touching tribute, Pablow the blowfish - A devastated Miley Cyrus touching tribute"

Better Day to Nota-Merry Christmas Eve

A man reflects on a "Better day"

While these two have it endlessly wrong

Better Day (free form poem)

Here I sit
In a world of my own making
Drifting mid sorrows and glory
Waiting for a better day
-
But all the stars
Which once were in my reach
Appear to be off dancing
In a paradise I fashioned
Once upon a better day
-
Was it truly me
Did it truly happen after all
Would it truly matter by and by
Was it truly worth this state I’m in
What seeds await the coming rain
Whispers of a better day
-
But in the silence of the storm
Which echoes through this shell of me
A haunting voice of all those tears
Brings my hope this sweet refrain
Thank you
-
So in my mist I sit
The same old spirit rules my heart
The winds outside are changing
But blessed am I to feel the scent
Bringing me this better day

(Note: the substitution of "Thank you" en lieu of the "better day" ending. This was done to add depth of meaning.)

To add a backdrop to this poem here is meditation styling of Omar Akram and his version of
"Run Away With Me"

Let's take account of what they learned

Take any number and multiply it times 9. Now add all the numbers of  the sum until you have one prime number. That number will always be 9. (example 3*9=18 : 1+8=9 : and it will work for any number*9) An accountant might find this interesting. Especially these two, who seem to get all else wrong. Welcome to the insanity of Notary Publix (Gina and Theresa Fra Diavolo and their arch-rival Erin Oatmeal). For these two, wrong extend past the skit, the skits, the...
I strongly recommend not seeing these two, unless you need laughs. "Nota-Merry Christmas Eve, Turds! - Notary Publix"
(This video was uploaded to YouTube only hours ago. Christnas Eve... another "Wrong" by Notary Publix.)

They Are Waiting to This Dance Team Is Extremely Cool

They are waiting patiently for us to realize them

The inspiration of this dance team is our proof

They Are Waiting (English sonnet)

They open to a realm of what might be
We can’t believe is there within our sight
They’re calling out to us to hold them tight
What is this jealous doubt that makes us flee
-
What limits are the thoughts which they ignite
A make-believe that we can clearly see
What limits now our possibility
What limits call us back into the night
-
Those reasons sent to cloud our youthful eyes
Whose answer to our hopes is always no
While there within our hearts we hear their screams
-
They open to a realm that’s free of lies
Where our imagination’s free to flow
To flow amid the streams of all our dreams

Here is a lady walking in her dreams: Enya "Adiemus"

Ready to be amazed

Simon Cowell’s (of Britain's Got Talent, the X factor and American Idol) first job in the music business was in the EMI mail room. There was a man with a dream. But rather than going through the volumes of his history, let's enjoy Team UDI. Team UDI is a Siberian "shadow" dance troupe. And even more, they are in the charity work of helping children. And even more, they are dreamers. They have been around for many years, evolving from ballet, to break dancing, to twerking. Now team UDI set their dreams on amazing Simon Cowell and his fellow judges on Britain's Got Talent.
But all this were just words. Watch. "Will dance troupe UDI be left out in the cold? | Britain's Got Talent 2015"

Voice I Heard to Guy Thinks He Birthed A Basketball

One man searches for a truth and finds it staring back at him

Another man's search for humor becomes much too real

Voice I Heard (villanelle)

While standing at the verge of what might be
A time too distant for heartbeats to tell
The voice I heard was calling after me
-
It asked what through my window did I see
I gazed across the ways I knew so well
While standing at the verge of what might be
-
My doubt filled eyes prevented clarity
But once truth was clear how could I dispel
The voice I heard was calling after me
-
There was my reason and purpose set free
Pray what would I do as curtains all fell
While standing at the verge of what might be
-
But where could I run where might I flee
To escape sound of soul’s lingering swell
The voice I heard was calling after me
-
And opening door to my reality
I met the one who had broken my spell
While standing at the verge of what might be
The voice I heard was calling after me

Here are The Pointer Sisters pointing the way: The Pointer Sisters "You Gotta Believe"

Now to a less serious time

James Naismith, a teacher at a YMCA in Springfield, Massachusetts, is credited with inventing basketball in 1891. Now here's a guy who likes basketball even though he's a bit of a sexist or maybe a bit childish. We learn two lessons from this video. One: some jokes may backfire, as they did in this (senseless) video. This video was created by The ScubaGuyz, who hope to breakout on YouTube. This, their first attempt, is being promoted by College Humor (via CH2) as part of their contest run through USC's Comedy@SCA program. You may, very well, be seeing the first of the next BIG YouTube channels.
Oh yes, the second lesson is: use protection when playing basketball. "This Guy Thinks He Birthed A Basketball"
