Just The Moon to Break-up Pasta

He'll never know the meaning of the break up for it is written in the moon

She'll know the meaning of the break up for it is mixed into the pasta

Just The Moon (repeating poem)

What did he say that made her leave
What was the reason they now grieve
What heartaches didn’t he perceive
What moment lost could he retrieve
Or was it just the moon
-
Their kisses flowed like any day
In Joy their time was swept away
There wasn’t cause to fear dismay
When suddenly she couldn’t stay
And there it was the moon
-
He cried as she passed through the door
You’re leaving tell me I implore
She didn’t turn to tell him more
But left some teardrop on the floor
While walking toward the moon
-
What was this pain he never knew
Where his mind slipped he had no clue
His conscience groans what did you do
Some soft replies she feels it too
As he’s caught by the moon
-
So many years did he befriend
And still some scars will never mend
There in the moon some time he’ll spend
To listen why their love did end
It was just in the moon

(In this drama our hero has a need to know the unanswerable, so he blames the moon.- I have sat with many-a  friend, listening to break up tales. Beside the occasional anger and confusion,  they all had in common the pain and tears. Arlene broke up with me. I was going to college at the time. It was a cruel phone call. One of our shortest. I was devastated. Luckily, I was staying with one of my teachers at the time, who.made sure someone was with me all the time. I worked at a restaurant, and my boss, David (who was also my mentor and friend) made me the dish washer (I was normally out front). I don't know how long it lasted, but my friends and teachers got me through it. What was really funny, during this period, I had no interest in any other girls. I was told, by my friends, many girls were making advances. (If only I had been this faithful later in my life.) One day David calls me out and says, "There's someone to see you." It was Arlene! David sat us at a private table, brought us some food, gave me the rest of the night off and slipped me some money. Arlene and I never discussed why the break up occurred.)

To complete this part of the mood, I've selected: Marga Sol "Goodbye"

Can your stomach handle one more break up

Break ups have been going on for a long time. In mythology, Medea killed a king to help her boyfriend, Jason, claim the Golden Fleece. Jason dumped Medea for a princess. Gregg. at You Suck At Cooking, is breaking up with his girlfriend. Here is a twist, Gregg has devised a way to combine this, normally less than positive event, with cooking. He has decided aglio e olio, a traditional Napoli dish, was best suited for the occasion.
Other than a great recipe, the whole thing sounds a little weird to me. But in today's world... "Break-up Pasta - Aglio E Olio - You Suck at Cooking (episode 14)"

Cause Of Silent Mystery to MSNBC Screws Us Over

What ts the cause of the silent mystery taking over a world

What is the cause of the not so silent mystery ringing in MSNBC's ear

Cause Of Silent Mystery (Shakespearean sonnet)

Somehow it seems the world has lost its flow
For it appears that all around has stopped
The stars in heaven even lost their glow
The breeze of flowers’ fantasies have dropped
-
The trees the leaves all stand so motionless
The air so still I feel my heartbeat’s call
Such stillness even time cannot express
One wonders was I really here at all
-
What is the cause of silent mystery
Why has this moment brought about such still
Will dawn’s tomorrow bring reality
Some hidden hope an instant might fulfill
-
The answer to life’s spectacle is this
My world was waiting for another kiss

(We start with a gentle mystery, yet we sense it has something to do with love. But for those who have followed my poetry, one can never tell. Yes, some of the words and ideas carry more than one meaning. - One of Arlene's and my favorite romantic getaways was Carmel. It was close enough, yet somehow far away. We went there often enough that though Carmel grew familiar, it still held places to explore. It had dining and dancing. But most of all, it had Arlene. There, in the center of a world created for romance, everything stopped for not only a kiss, but for the amazement which was Arlene.)

Can you help us out with a romantic song : Yiruma "Kiss the Rain"

I don't think you're ready for this

When possums are playing ‘"possum", they are not “playing”. They actually pass out from sheer terror. That is the last touch of reality we're going to get in this edition. Meet Lynette Haraway and Rochelle Richardson, better known as Diamond and Silk, two proud Democrats who support (Republican) Donald Trump. Confused yet? Diamond and Silk host an infectiously political YouTube show called "The Viewers View". Supposedly, they were scheduled to be on MSNBC weekend show with Steve Koknacki. According to the sisters, at the last second they were uninvited and Diamond and Silk demand to know why.
What makes this pair really funny is that there is a layer of truth mixed into the ridiculousness. "MSNBC SCREWS US OVER BECAUSE WE STUMP FOR TRUMP"

Wonder With Me to If Reality TV Took On Push Up Competitions

A person reaches out to walk him through reality

A what if reaches out to watch a new concept in reality TV

Wonder With Me (free form poem)

Tremble with me
Wonder with me
Everyone wants to know
What kind of person is he
-
Each star of success
Is a new hope reborn from its sleep
Which lightens the long lumbering night
With a dazzling display of thrills
Which he recalled so easily
-
Oh the things we can do
Such changes to warm warn out streets
People remembering to smile
Love affairs renewed in enchantments
Following his lead
The path of possibility
-
And on and on we went
Relighting the long lost forgot
Showing others it’s safe to follow their heart
It’s okay to be a star in the day
Just look at this marvel
He doesn’t flee
-
But where were we when he needed us
Through his beatings and neglect
We turned away from the all the cries
All the whys which went unanswered
Thank God for forgiveness
Wonder with me
Tremble with me

(Here is poem/thought/riddle. We have a man wandering though a shadow, with a light up ahead. Just when we think we might know what he's talking about, he gets deeper. In the end, one can only guess where his message went, or came from. Is it religious? Is it something personal? We are only left with these clues, "Wonder with me. Tremble with me." -  I have a lot of experience with "fame is a fleeting thing". How quickly we're forgotten when they're not on top (here and now). Many-a imaginative minds are pushed aside. Many-a good intention, hard working, positive heroes of society are  brushed aside, forgotten, covered by the sands of time. I have been fortunate to have brushed the shoulders of many-a great women and men. And, oh yes, I am a Christian.)

To go with these thoughts, I've selected: Les Jumeaux "Miracle Road"

Confusion to confusion

Many believe Realty TV may have begun in earnest in 1991 with the Dutch series Nummer 28. Now-a days Reality TV is everywhere and runs the gamut. The folks at College Humor 2 (CH2) have come up with a new idea. Why not have a show built around push ups? Think about it. It's no more far fetched as some of stuff making the air waves.
Push Up Competitions may not see the world of Reality TV, but it did cut its niche in viral videos.

The Frog King to Life as a Little Person

A tale of a ruler trapped in his own fantasy

A tale of a little mind exploring the world of a little person

The Frog King (English sonnet)

Upon his lily pad throne cross the sea
The king of all he saw now meets his day
His orders crocked for his servants to obey
This ruler of some but his destiny
-
His kindness of mind caused others dismay
A world beyond his it just couldn’t be
And tears which chanced by where a mystery
This ruler of some whose path went astray
-
The servants would hide away with their dreams
But that cursed voice now commanded the air
This ruler of some but some only dread
-
The tears of many hushed gathered in streams
But onward he crocked to fate unaware
This ruler of some but death overhead

(I used the English sonnet form to share a parable. I'm sure we can all relate to some extent, Did you catch how similar I kept all four of the last lines? - Let me share one of my awakenings. The Masonic Line of officers has many life lessons, like all of freemasonry. One of the lessons of the Master, of the Lodge is: We have this opportunity. Make the most of it. I was the Junior Warden at the time. One of the Junior Warden's duties is to be in charge of all social events. The Master, at the time, gave me a free hand. All he asked was that there be no alcohol during his year. Fearing that this might negatively effect the parties, I had in my plans, I quickly got on the phone with the "powers that be". It wasn't long for the Master to call and rescind his request. We went on to have the biggest, most attended and best events in Lodge history (including a dance held in the Lion House of the San Francisco Zoo). When my year was over and the praises had subsided, I had time to reflect on my failure. I could have been a great Junior Warden, but instead I had to swallow this bitter pill and live with the loss of an opportunity,)

A song for two frog kings: Franziska Imboden "Sunset"

It looks like I have to move over

The shortest human adult ever documented was Chandra Bahadur Dangi, of Nepal, who measured 22 in (57 cm). Forrest MacNeil, of Comedy Central, is not a little person but became curious of the day to day challenges of little people. He revamped his home and office to simulate what it's like to be a little person.
The result of Forrest's research is: There are now little people curious of the day to day challenges of Forrest MacNeil. "Life as a Little Person - Review - Comedy Central"

Dream Of A River to Bad Mom - Taylor Swift parody

A lover offers his beloved proof that dreams come true

While across a fence a mom proves nightmares also do

Dream Of A River (poem)

Dream of a river soft satin blue
Dream of enchantments drifting in view
Dream of the music’s promising hue
Dream of the wonders waiting for you
-
Dream of the sweet echoes of spring
Dream of the blossoms flowers will bring
Whispers in breezes will make hearts sing
Dream of each sigh to which we will cling
-
Dream of the day so perfectly made
Warm jasmine scents love as a shade
Eyes capture moments passions cascade
Dream of the themes from heaven have strayed
-
And there are kisses endlessly lit
Souls set to wander feelings commit
Let all else languish to this submit
Dream of what heights true dreamers can hit
-
For here we are soft satin and blue
Drifting through visions lovers are due
And all of the while I gaze at you
Proof that a dream can really come true

(In this love poem, we start with a dream ("dream of"). Stanza by stanza lines of ideas replace dreams. Until in the last stanza, when the poem points to the nature of a dream. Notice how the ending stanza rhymes with the first stanza. - My last job at Chevron was creating dreams. People came to me with what they wanted and I would make it happen. A dreamer with an oil company behind him; and paying me to boot. But my greatest dream was Arlene. I had proved myself to the masons and they had a lot of money too. Arlene and I had gone through many problems. We just bought a home in San Francisco. Our kids were maturing. It was time to recapture our dream. We had continued our walks and revisited our memories. These moments help keep us together. But here was our chance to live our dream. Everything was right. Everything had led to this.... And so it was, with Chevron at one end and the masons at the other, Arlene and I rode the wave of our talents. And the most prized were the dreams of lovers.)

All this calls for some mood music: Milew "Dreams"

From dreams to nightmares

Studies indicate that about 28% of stay-at-home moms reported depression. This may help to explain the upcoming video. Taylor Swift said/sang, "Cause baby, now we've got bad blood." Deva Dalporto, of MyLifeSucks, says/sings, "Cause baby, now we've got bad mom". Deva is a happily married author, actor, blogger, YouTuber and full-time mom of two kids. She was a senior editor for Nickelodeon's Parents Connect. She is anything but a "Bad Mom". Unless we mean "bad" and the best.
So, as it seems, these Bad Moms found an answer for depression. "Bad Mom - Taylor Swift - Bad Blood ft. Kendrick Lamar Parody"

Rivers Refreshing to Try Not To Laugh At Funny Cats

A soul turns to this river to wash away pain's miseries

A collection of cat videos turns to laughter to wash away gloom

Rivers Refreshing (lyrical poem)

Rivers refreshing
Bring to my soul
Your gift of living
Heart to console
-
It was near nighttime sunset was drawn
I didn’t know yet something was gone
Strange unfamiliar was path I walked on
Strange were the feelings footsteps did spawn
-
I tried to call but got no reply
Confusion and reason arguing why
Leaflet of clue fell down from the sky
And whispered to heart the dawn of goodbye
-
Rivers refreshing
Bring to my soul
Your gift of living
Heart to console
-
Lonely and tearless were lifetimes I stood
How could this happen from all I thought good
I would ask answers if only I could
Grant me small token perhaps my eyes should
-
Rivers refreshing
Bring to my soul
Your gift of living
Heart to console
-
Sleepless were nights since she went away
Just why this all happened stories would say
And to this one thought my meaning will stay
Why not one teardrop my eyes can display
-
Rivers refreshing
Bring to my soul
Your gift of living
Heart to console

(If this sounds/looks like a song, that's because it is. It is words waiting for a song. I tried to reserve the meaning of the river until the last chorus. - These lyrics were inspired by two major events. I was the last piece of dream fashioned by Ernie Blueher P.M. It was his vision that seven men, in seven years, work together to save a dying Masonic Lodge. I, for my part, worked on strengthening our relations with public schools, making the Lodge more family oriented, awakening the strength of Lodges working together and using my talents to break down the walls that limit imagination. I was the seventh man of the seventh year. We had done so well, our membership quadrupled, attendance at meetings was very impressive and we were recognized by San Francisco. For all I did for the Lodge, knives were thrown my back. The "haters" were so great, I was going to quit Freemasonry. Then one of the Job's Daughters said to me, "Mr. Kloess. why are you going to quit, after all you've done?" The other inspiration: After 42 years of magic. 42 years of did it all really happen.  Learning, growing, living what others only dream about... Arlene died.)

Brunuhville "River of Tears"

I'd say, a few laughs are in order

Research seems to indicate cat owners were 60 percent less likely to die of a heart attack. They might be right. The folks at YouTube's Funny Channel have compiled a video of feline antics. Even if you are not a "cat lover", you have to admit this video is funny. Watching this video, maybe cat owners are less likely to die of a heart attack is because they die of laughter. Hmmm...
This video carries a challenge. Try not to laugh. "Best Funny Cats Videos Compilation - Try Not To Laugh"

Touch The Fields to Yeah I got skills

A lover is blessed to have touched the fields

A fellow is blessed to discover his skills

Touch The Fields (changing poem)

Who was I to touch the fields of splendor
Taking in the comely spring of youth
Flowers were swept dreams for a tomorrow
Heartbeats were some words to this day’s song
-
One more day to scramble cares with friends
One more memory of legends made
Was in a place so strange and unfamiliar
When I first felt the breath of something new
-
I heard the world cry comrade come away
The day is young and thrills remain untried
But all I was this moment special drew
A vision which would set all else askew
-
Something lingered in that last farewell
As deep inside me yearnings burnings grew
And all my cares so far beyond me flew
What were these heights this person set me through
-
It wasn’t long for kisses to debut
As magic moment turned into a few
I would return as lovers often do
Just who was I to touch the fields so true

(Another form Of the Changing Poem idea. This time a free form poem becomes a rhyme. Notice how I managed to start the transformation on the word "new". In short: this change symbolizes the changes most of us go through from young lovers to seasoned sweethearts. - Here we were, Arlene and I. Touching our 50s. We had done so much,  seen so many things, touched so many lives, experienced so much of life; passed through darkness and light, pains and joys and we were still together. Here was the couple who had their start with a magic tear, who frolicked and kissed in lovers' paradises, who raised two amazing children, who grew into community leaders, who many predicted would never stay together and still enjoy moonlit waltzes through memories made. Yes, we danced in the fields meant for lovers. The fields of our youth flowering as Arlene and I met our challenges with kisses and caresses. So, like this poem two wild and carefree lovers transformed.)

As luck would have it, I ran into this great video: Enya "We Are Free Now"
(Yes, I was a Final Fantasy fan)

From love to a more earthly skills

BeyoncĂ© Knowles loves the game Connect Four and once beat Kanye West in 9 out of 10 matches.Talk about weird skills, meet Joe Charman. Joe is a British comedian and vineographer. He has recently discovered he some unusual skills. Joe made a compilation video of is skills.
Another of Joe's skills, not shown in the video, is his ability to get me to feature his video here. "Yeah I got skills - ultimate compilation"
