Lovers’ Lore to Every Break Up Ever

In a dream a heart is taken to the land of lovers' lore

In a daze heartbreaks are taken to the land of just one more break up

Lovers’ Lore (Italian sonnet)

A fragrance felt again alights the shore
Soft shimmerings cast songs to claim my heart
Blue waves enticing feelings come explore
While whispered wishes paradise impart
-
The satin spray of tides begin to flow
As reasons for this moment gently spread
A dream ignites what wonders can bestow
While passion scents vast visions up ahead
-
And while I drift at edge of what can be
I feel the doubt from clouds of some unknown
A world recalls a need for clarity
A memory which it can call its own
-
But fragrance felt arouses sighs once more
Pure trusting winds surrender would apply
To lovers’ lore imaginings I soar
As with a kiss I bid the world goodbye

(A suggestive Italian love sonnet. I left the scene somewhat open, to allow readers' imagination to play. There is a reason I brought back a rhyme in the 4th stanza I began with in the 1st stanza. - I'm not certain when it started, but the scent of jasmine has a magical effect on me. It takes me to a place where only happiness exists. My mind dances in every pleasant moment I ever passed through, all at once. It is no secret that good perfumes and colognes smell different when sparked by an individual's natural scent. For Arlene it was Yves Saint Laurent's Opium. On Arlene, to me, it smelled like a summer's night of jasmine. So when I speak of a fragrance, I speak of Arlene in the glories of jasmine. My garden walls have been taken over by jasmine. And when a breeze carries its scent to me, I'm carried to the glories of Arlene.)

I know what this all sounds like: Will Downing "Lover's Paradise"

The other side of the coin (with a bit of laughter)

Linda Wolfe holds the record for the most marriages with 23 ex-husbands. I'd say she has some experience with break ups. If you you are one of the lucky souls never to have gone through one, Smosh has put together a compilation for you. Smosh is a web-based comedy duo consisting of Ian Andrew Hecox and Anthony Padilla. Break ups have been a part of the dating scene, as the video will show, as long as there have been couples. Smosh feels, why not step back and have a laugh or two?
If you are one who has gone through a break up, after viewing this video, you should be wondering: who was Smosh dating? (Or who was dating Smosh?) "EVERY BREAK UP EVER"

Sacred Scent to Undercover Mop

What is that sacred sent captured in the wind

Maybe the undercover mop can clear up the mystery

Sacred Scent (Shakespearean sonnet)

What whisper has a wind here sent to me
Which calls my soul to wade amidst the haze
Of fantasies where wishes are ablaze
A promised dream which only you can free
-
What sacred scent here calls my mind to stray
Where time and meaning have no say at all
As heartbeats echo feelings we’ll recall
It’s you the sun has blessed another day
-
Who knows what winds are waiting up ahead
Or what strange scents are swept across our path
We only have this hope to heed life’s wrath
A hope made strong by Joy and tears we shed
-
The whisper is the love you brought along
The sacred scent is hope which keeps it strong

(A standard Shakespearean love sonnet. Even though a problem is introduced from the beginning, I've tried to heighten the feeling in the conflict stanza. Also notice how the conflict stanza restates the wind (from the first stanza) and the scent (from the second stanza). - Have you ever had a perfect day? A day where absolutely nothing went wrong. Well, I have. It happened on July 27, 1974, the day I married Arlene. It started when my best man, Mario,  woke me to a great breakfast and ended  sipping complimentary champagne on the balcony of the Disneyland Hotel, watching the stars mix with a dream. Maybe it was the magic of the occasion that made even the airports and the transportation to the hotel so exceptionally smooth. Everyone seemed to know that Arlene and I were newly wed and went out of their way to add to the day. Perfect. Absolutely perfect. Arlene and I went on with our lives. We met many challenges There where many moments when divorce was just around the corner, Arlene and I enjoyed the view atop of green mountains and tasted the dirt of forsaken deserts. But there was always hope of that perfect day.)

Then there was the dancing, which helped get us over: Eugen Doga "The Scent of Love"

Now that we have addressed the secret scent, who will mop up this edition

Joaquin Garcia, also known as Jack, Jock, and Jocko, is a retired FBI agent best known for his undercover work infiltrating the Gambino crime family in New York. Garcia is regarded, by some. as one of the most successful and prolific undercover agent in the history. BroSis is hoping to change all that, by vying for the top position with its own undercover discovery. BroSis Pictures is the successful movie and video production, brother/sister team of Morgan and Max. Los Angeles may be the city of angels, but it has a vast army of devils that need to be cleaned up. Morgan and Max are hoping their creation will mop up the streets and win them the number primo spot for undercover agents.
If they fall short on their primo agent dream, Morgan and Max  are counting on a most OK song. "BroSis: Undercover Mop"

The Lovers And The River to Bus Don't Move

A tale of young lovers and the river

A tale of young moms and the morning

The Lovers And The River (story poem)

A tale unfolds of lovers true
Who met to cross a river blue
And heaven watched and heaven sighed
As once more couple there did meet
An ageless custom to repeat
-
To test how strong their love might be
They’ll walk to meet their destiny
And heaven’s wish was at their side
He took her hand in peril’s view
A final kiss their love renew
-
They entered water felt its strain
To try the trust these two maintain
And heaven’s hope now opened wide
As couple progressed cautiously
To press ahead or turn and flee
-
There in the strength of river’s flow
Where naked truth began to show
And heaven held as love was tried
His hold on love began to wane
Her footing she could not regain
-
Was there a love which once was sweet
Had met a fate it would not beat
And heaven watched and heaven cried
When finally he let her go
A tale of Joy or one of woe

(In this story/poem there are three sets of rhymes. There is the opening rhyme and the closing rhyme. Then there is the middle rhyme. which ties the whole poem together. Did you also notice that every middle rhyme refers to heaven? - I wish I had a romantic tale, like this, to relate to you. Arlene and I were "stupid kids". We were cliff climbing at Lands End in San Francisco. There were signs, clearly posted, warning people not to climb the cliffs, for safety reasons. But Arlene and I weren't ordinary people, so surely the signs were't meant for us (or those who made the news, falling from the cliffs). Everything was going great, until I heard a scream. It was Arlene. She was stuck on a very small ledge, afraid to move. I tried to encourage her to come to my outstretched hand. She said she couldn't move and cried for me to help her. What happened next is still unclear. I wish I could say it was bravery or love which moved me to action. In fact it was shear blankness (shearer than that ledge) that took possession of me. And though that ledge was smaller than my feet, I went out and brought Arlene to safety. Or did those two fall and I am a survivor in another reality? What's even more mind blowing... did we learn anything?)

Well the water is wide: Karla Bonoff "The Water is Wide"

From a river to a morning

Did you know that school buses in America and Canada are all painted a specific yellow, because it attracts attention faster than any other color? Also did you know (according to American Traffic Solution) more than 100 children are killed every year walking to school. Another 25,000 are injured. And half of the 31 pedestrians killed while boarding a bus are children between the ages of 5 and 7. With this in mind, Deva Dalporto (of MyLifeSuckers), and a few of her friends, created this video, to enjoy and raise public awareness about school bus safety.
After you finish enjoying the fun, remember and spread the word - See a Bus, Don’t Move. "Bus Don't Move - Bust A Move Parody"

The Secret Of My Tears to Cat Soap Opera

Discover the secret of a lover's tears

Discover the secret of the cat hospital

The Secret Of My Tears (Shakespearean sonnet)

The morning’s blessings gently touched yours lips
The night departs the reason for the dew
The sun has come again to grace your hue
Your fragrant melody the dawn now sips
-
The day has rushed to marvel at your glow
The other flowers blush and hide their face
The dreams of time now usher your embrace
Your lasting kiss to ending you must know
-
For I have come to steal your life away
And now you feel the secret of my tears
My knife has come to free you from your fears
And turn you to a thought of yesterday
-
And soon you’ll know the glories from above
My rose you are the smile I bring my love

(I started out by painting a picture of madness and death. In the end it was a rose, a sacrifice for my love. Notice the order the sonnet begins with, which dissolves when the knife appears, in the conflict stanza. The sonnet is packed with hidden meaning, to let one's mind wander. - I learned early the power of surprise. People really appreciate it. But there is a balance. Each individual needs an access to their comfort zone. Consider a roller coaster. Most of us like the excitement, but we appreciate the assurance we are safe. Now, as far as the rose and Arlene. Arlene really didn't like flowers. So I had to cut roses from the garden of my imagination. Once cut, I expected of myself a new prize to bring a smile to my love's day. With this narrative, the possibilities of this sonnet has opened up,)

For the madness of this "love" sonnet, I turn to Sweeney Todd:
Stephen Sondheim "Johanna Quartet"

From one secret we purr into another

The mother of the soap opera was Irna Phillips. She created the first radio soap opera "Painted Dreams" in 1937. Mark Douglas has gone one step further. Normally Mark works for Barely Production, a production channel on YouTube. But they didn't listen to him. Mark didn't understand why. His idea was filled with tension, betrayal, deaths, and affairs and, oh yes... cats. So he went to Field Day to bring his vision to life. Why didn't Barely Production take advantage of Mark's concept of a hospital run by humans and cats?
Could it be that Mark called Barely Production on a Sunday, their one day off. "Cat Soap Opera | Mark Douglas of Barely Productions Has A Field Day"

Weeping Willow to Paranoid in the library

In a quiet field unfolds a tale only a weeping willow knew

In a quiet library unfolds a tale only paranoia knew

Weeping Willow (English sonnet

Was there aside a weeping willow tree
Which graced a field of flowers fraught with dew
Amid the dawn the bitter night now through
A maiden rests where straying eyes can’t see
-
She wore the blessing of a youthful hue
Her hair was long and brown and flowed so free
Her face aglow in heaven meant to be
This flower’s beauty was a dream come true
-
And by her flowed a pool of reddened dread
From heart that has forgotten how to beat
And eyes which saw this story come to close
-
So there she sleeps upon her final bed
And what had brought an end to one so sweet
A legend only weeping willow knows

(I tried to weave an image filled with love which doesn't become somewhat clear until the conclusion. Until the final stanza a myriad of images are stroked. - It wasn't a weeping willow. It was a maple tree. It grows by Stow Lake in Golden Gate Park. I use to take Arlene canoeing there. After which we would sit by our tree and watch the world float by. In our time, Arlene and I would visit our tree now and again. Arlene's father is buried at Forest Lawns. When Arlene died, the family and I wanted her buried at the same cemetery as her father. Many of Arlene's relatives are buried there. I had a good friend who worked at Forest Lawns. Although Arlene's father had been laid to rest for over 25 years, in the original part of the cemetery, my friend managed to find Arlene a plot only 3 away from her father. I would visit Arlene and her family every now and again and when I performed a funeral at Forest Lawns. When I visit Arlene, I rest in the shade of a maple tree, that grows near Arlene.)

If you don't feel a tear yet, this should do the trick: Secret Garden "Aquarell"

If you're paranoid about impending laughter, you might be right

Dr. John Forbes Nash is considered a genius mathematician who has helped widen people’s knowledge regarding mathematical concepts. He won the Nobel Prize award in the field of mathematics and logical thinking. He was also a paranoid schizophrenic. There seems to be a little bit of paranoia in all of us. Ask Jack Vale. Jack is a Huntington Beach, California comedian and YouTuber. He made lots of laughs playing with people's paranoia. Now he is loose in a library.
If you don't think you are a little paranoid, remember I told you so. "PARANOID IN THE LIBRARY!"

Lovers’ Afternoon to Butte're

Explore the afternoon of lovers

Explore a new fragrance for women

Lovers’ Afternoon (Martin verse)

When stardust mixes mid the moon
When kisses cast make lovers swoon
When hearts unite to form a tune
Then is a lovers’ afternoon
-
When words don’t have a thing to say
When even dreams seem far away
When eyes are havens souls there stray
Then it becomes a love’s mid-day
-
Then passions rise beyond the moon
Then all they knew now far away
Then whispered winds cause minds to stray
When love is in its afternoon
-
Then even reason dare not say
Then there again what made them swoon
Then heavens hear a timeless tune
When lovers bask amid mid-day
-
When will I kiss love’s afternoon
When will you teach my heart your tune
When in your arms I’m bound to swoon
Then stardust mixes mid the moon

(Not only was this love poem written in Martin verse, a form that I created. It bears with it a play with words. Martin verse does require a little planning, as the same 8 words are reused over again in the basic form. Add to this the complexity of planning a "When" and "Then" beginning and a kiss or two should be sparked. - One of my most rewarding splendors with, Arlene, she loved planning. What I mean by that is: She really got off on well orchestrated events. The more thought I would put into something, the greater would be her pay-back. My planning for her was like an aphrodisiac. Very rewarding... if you know what I mean. One of my most challenging dilemmas, especially at the height of our party period, was planning moments alone with Arlene. Most of these were in the mist of night. I can still remember times, when the party was over, and the band would play one more tune, just for Arlene and me. Just one of life's extra for which Arlene would reward me. For all the moments I put together for Arlene, life seemed to throw in something more. Or where we lovers alive.)

Here is the song to go with this: Starland Vocal Band "Afternoon Delight"

With all this talk of love, how about a new perfume

As of January 2015, Clive Christian No. 1 was considered the most expensive perfume, running as high as $800 for 3 milligrams. Flerp is offering something new and at a much more reasonable price. Flerp Films is an independent production house focusing on sketch, improvisation, commercial and original comedies. In addition to this, Flerp has discovered a cholesterol free fragrance for women, called Butte're.
Now, one has to wonder, what a film production company knows about perfume. "Flerp: Butte're"

Dreams Of Her to James vs. Shark

The dreams of her now fills his memories

A shark now fills a little boy's room

Dreams Of Her (poem)

The dreams of her
Now memories
There never were
Such times as these
Where all we’d stir
Was in a breeze
Which would refer
To dreams of her
-
The dreams of her
Soft silent pleas
Become a blur
At times like these
Which now prefer
To pay all fees
Which would confer
Those dreams of her
-
The dreams of her
None else can ease
They’d be a burr
In times as these
All else deter
But one will please
I’d much prefer
To dream of her
-
The dreams of her
A kiss’s breeze
A wish whisper
For times as these
Which now refer
To memories
That dream of her
To dream of her

(If you have been following me you will note my verity. I do not consider myself a good poet. I depend on my versatility of styles and content as well as a few surprises to keep readers coming back. Here is another example of my diversity. - Arlene passed away in 2002. We had an unbelievable life together. More like a dream. Two broken pieces that fate brought together to form more. It was a tear that brought us together and together we would create remarkable things. Arlene and I were never rich but as a show of the heights we touched, Arlene's funeral viewing lasted three days. Thousands of peopled came to wish her farewell. It is hard for me not to believe in magic. Miss Arlene? It's hard to explain to people. We made good use of our time. Luck, good fortune and opportunities smiled on us.Yes, we had our challenges, but we lived a life, most only dream of. Miss Arlene? Does anyone miss their youth? Arlene and I made the most of ours. I could be depressed or I could celebrate.)

What could be more fitting than a dream bringing a guitar alive: Ana Vidovic performing
Isaac Albeniz "Asturias"

Now for a bit of humorous terror

The average shark has 40-45 teeth and can have up to seven rows of replacement teeth. Speaking of sharks, meet James Hashimoto. Four year old James was playing in the living room, of his family's home when a Great White shark appeared. Now it is up to him to save his little sister, Sophie,  from those teeth, which don't seem to be so useless (facts) right now.
There is a bit more to this video, but not to ruin the surprise ending, I'll stop here and let you enjoy. "James vs. Shark"
