Lest Love Will Go to Superhawt
A couple find the power of love
A man has powers of his own

Lest Love Will Go (acrostic sonnet)

Let loose your fancy thoughts of me awhile
Erase all doubt and cling to what is true
Stand fast with feeling’s reason for sweet smile
Take hold these patient hands that yearn for you
-
Let’s build a special loft for our repose
One space where it is safe for us to fall
Veiled roses we our secrets to expose
Else we will see an end we can’t forestall
-
What care to us what lonely people say
Is there some hidden need behind their care
Lost laymen who led their own love astray
Lights strangers’ ways to share in their despair
-
Give way to love and its rich kisses sow
Our hearts will trust in love lest love will go

A Shakespearean sonnet with a little extra. An acrostic poem is a type of poetry where the first, last or other letters in a line spell out a particular word or phrase. Here we have an acrostic poem molded into a Shakespearean sonnet. Each line begins with a letter of the tittle. To drive the cleverness home, the poem ends with the acrostic phrase.

Ours was a grand love story. Arlene and I were childhood sweethearts. We met when I was one of the male actors in a play put on by her school. We used the magic of a tear as the legend of our love. We moved in together soon after Arlene graduated from high school. Our first apartment was a palace in the sky. It was a small one bedroom apartment, on Twin Peaks, overlooking the western half of San Francisco. The whole scenario was perfect for a grand love story.
Life sent breezes enriched with gifts to lay at our wonderland. Our destiny was to be "lovers like no others". Before I go too far, we had our challenges and they we as big as our love. We were life and love at work. Individuals and places would come our way. Some to enhance us. Others to be enhanced, to be reassured, to be shown there may be magic through us.
Perhaps I'm making too much of this. I believe there are things unexplainable in life. Love is one of these. As grand a couple Arlene and I were, there were others on similar clouds. Love has many aspects. As Arlene and I became richer in life's gifts, we saw how life had touched others in the endless facets of this precious gem. If life was doing this with love, what about the the many other of life's gifts? What about the ability to touch? The ability to inspire? The ability to dream? Endless is life's magic. How are you blessed?  What makes you grand? Rejoice and enjoy.

From love to magic of another kind

Einstein’s theory of relativity dictates that the closer one is to the center of the Earth, the slower time goes (this has been measured). In the fantasy world, many heroes control time in various ways. RocketJump studio has thrown their hat, or should I say superhero, into the ring. His name is Superhawt. He has the ability to completely stop time. RocketJump's new superhero has a revelation.
"What is it?". you may ask. Well watch... if you have time. "SUPERHAWT"

  1. I was going to say how lucky you and Amor were - but luck didn't have a lot to do with it. You put the work into cherishing and building on your relationship (like your dance lessons) and reaped the rewards.
