Paradise Shore to Honest Airline Commercial
How did a lover reach paradise shore
Not with this airline

Paradise Shore (Shakespearean sonnet)

To what enchanted shore have I been lead
Where tides of passion roam amidst the waves
Of fantasies now dancing in my head
Till reasoning itself now misbehaves
-
Anticipation teasing at desire
Aflame by kisses raining from some star
Imagination shouts from out its spire
Set wandering yet knowing where you are
-
If senses ceased their voyage through the clouds
Why would they light my way from off your isle
What remains can clear your pleasures’ shrouds
To sail would only lead me to your smile
-
My dream made real accept the heart you’ve won
Forever sharing shores a tide begun

A lover cannot escape, so he might as well give in to the pleasures of this Shakespearean sonnet. Line after line is filled with pleasure. Even the conflict stanza (the third quatrain) cannot escape the pleasure flowing over the entire sonnet. The lover finally resolves himself in the rhyming couplet.

Those were unbelievable times with Arlene. I am not complaining nor attempting to cut what we had short, but I briefly suspected that there was more to our relationship than meets the eye or can be explained. Every once in awhile a weird thought would run through my brain. Let me try to give an example. I have always thought that Arlene was beautiful (from the first I fell in love with her). The thought would enter my "brain". Is she really that beautiful? There were girls who looked much better than the pictures of Arlene that I kept at work.(At least while this crazy thought was floating in my head.) When the real Arlene came into my view, of course she is the most beautiful. The thought would vanish as if had never been there. Side by side there really never was anyone more beautiful than Arlene. (Or was there?) Did Arlene cast a spell over me? Was I a really happy prisoner of a woman's delight? Yes, I lived in paradise. Her name was Arlene.

Love is a wonder. It can be the source of joy beyond belief or a storm of pain. It has the power to change the world. A poet's best friend. Songs are written about it. Monuments have been erected to it. Civilizations have come and gone because of it, Yes, love is a wonder. And this wonder is granted to us. Granted to us to use. To use to make us all, to that one person in our life. To use to bring joy to thousands of children. Love is that powerful, that endless and more. Our's. That is how special we are, that this limitless everything is there, here. everywhere. Waiting for us to discover it. Waiting  for us to discover us. Waiting for us ti discover and Enjoy.

To go with this, I selected for our enjoyment: Ibiza Sunset "Vanilla Twilight"

We've heard about good airlines but have we heard about EveRy Airlines

KLM, or Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V. (Royal Dutch Airlines), established on 7 October 1919, is the world's oldest commercial airline. EveRy is the world's worst airline and proud of it. Ryan Higa, of nigahiga, introduces us to this controversial airline.
EveRy may be the worst airline, but they are the most honest. "Honest Airline Commercial"

Moonbeams’ Dance to 300 Movies On The Dance Floor
A haunting tale of a moonlit dance
A haunting video of dancing in movie moments

Moonbeams’ Dance (poem)

Moonbeams thrilled the dark and bitter night
A scent foreboding slithered in some corner
Unresting fears filled mirror of my soul
My tortured tears expressed my loneliness
-
Bleak silence broke as tears fell on the ground
For from some distance rose a long lost sound
Refreshing drink in world that now abounds
-
But emptiness made heartbeats know it’s there
By airing shattered shadows of a past
A moment’s spell from nothing long ago
-
And from these shadows suddenly appeared
That person who my life had once endeared
And stood beside me till our troubles cleared
Yet from our fullness days would soon be sheered
-
There from those tears rich music would enhance
As once again this captivating trance
Invited me to hold her in a dance
And drift with her to moments we would chance
-
Oh moonbeams take this challenge from my sight
Take from me from this test of deepest reason
Even the teardrops can’t be trusted
How long will this last echoed forever

A change in a lover's evening is echoed in the form of this poem. I did bot call this a free form poem as it is both (a rhyming and free form poem). When this person is alone, with his thoughts, they are engaged in free form verse. Then something happens to change this poem into a rhyme. Also notice the order the lines. The beats are real tight while the poem is rhyming and free flowing while the speaker is alone in his thoughts.

Arlene and I were part of a haunted mystery of our own. It was a dinner dance that we arranged at the Officers' Cub, in San Francisco's Presidio. It was a warm autumn night. It was a wonderful event. Everyone seemed to be having a good time. It was time to call it an evening. The band had already played two encores. A fog was rolling in as guests were going to their cars. Arlene and I were outside when we heard the band playing one more song. It was strange. I thought I had noticed them packing up. Arlene and I took advantage of the moment. So there we were, as the fog was rolling in, enjoying a last dance outside. On the following day, the phone rang off the hook. People were calling. They wanted to know how we did it.  It seems that some of our guests stayed to watch Arlene and I dancing. As they watched, Arlene and I disappeared. I could offer no explanation, or any insight as to whether it happened at all. I was too much into Arlene at the time.

So here we are. The product of a moment. In one world we have two lovers, lost in each other, dancing. In one world we have couples admiring a moment. In one world we have a "miracle". Three worlds become one. A legacy is born. The legacy of a night, a dance and two lovers. What are our legacies? The fact of life is that we are all special. Special things happen to us all of the time. We pass a friend. We notice a smile on their face. A smile caused by us. A memory sparkles. Our legacy. And it's getting better. It's growing. That face in the mirror. Much more than a person. A legacy. Enjoy.

Let's take a few steps back. Back to the poem: Hayley Westenra "Dark Waltz"

Dancing is life and here are 300 reasons why

During the Depression, dance marathons were popular as a means to forget about daily troubles. Mike Ritof and Edith Boudreaux hold the world record. From August 29th, 1930, to April 1st, 1931, they danced for 5,154 hours and 48 minutes - that's 214 days. Dancing is an important part of our day to day life. As proof of this, dance scenes are part of many of our movies. Antonio Maria da Silva as gathered just 300 of these movie scenes up and created an amazing video.

The Painting to High School Boyfriend Drama
Will a painting help a couple to see
What will it take for an old boyfriend to see

The Painting (round)

Let’s paint our tales of that was that
In vibrant colors from our hat
The wonders of the once was you
Is now the subject of their chat
-
So fickled is their point of view
It hardly matters if it’s true
Let’s splash on colors just to see
Perhaps we’ll paint a someone new
-
Each brush stroke a new fantasy
Of how they dreamed our lives might be
And each detail a new display
Of someone wishing they were me
-
What wonders we did paint that day
When clarity was brushed away
And shades of mud where colors bright
This memory of foolish play
-
Is this the slosh of my delight
Is the dreams I had at night
Was all we did this blot of shame
When did I learn to lose my sight
-
But in the shadows far from blame
A canvas waits for us to claim
And paint a truth upon this mat
Our next mistake won’t be the same

Even though a couple painted their lives in bright colors they couldn't see the truth of this round. In this round the third line is the seed for the next stanza. The last stanza leads back to the first. Thus this poem has no beginning or end.

In the disco days Arlene and I often traveled with the crew. The crew consisted of our hair stylist Ed and his girlfriend Sheree, Mike and his wife Val, Lance and his latest date and Arlene and me. We would all meet up at Ed's hair salon and from there begin the night's adventure. Mike was a gifted and talented singer. His wife, Val, was a dancer, model and singer. As talented as Mike was, he wasn't a dancer. Oh he could dance, but not good enough to make money at it. For this Val had to turn to Adrian (a dancer). For some reason Mike's career wasn't taking off. He started getting jealous of Val and her relationship with Adrian. Funny thing, everyone knew that Adrian was gay, and very dedicated to his boyfriend. Everyone. Mike's and Val's problems became evident to the crew. As things got really bad between the couple, they sought professional help. During these times the crew received free martial advice, from Mike. Things got better... for awhile. Then Mike and Val sought out "better" counseling. And the crew received better martial advice. This cycle went on until Mike and Val quietly divorced. One more insight into this couple: Remember they were entertainers. The crew would go out on Friday or Saturday nights. The same nights most entertainers work.

Here is a mystery of life. Holes. Holes that we all fall into. Some are short or shallow. Some are endless. If these holes are positive, except for maybe being caught up in success after success, no big problem. If these holes are less than desirable, then we have a challenge. So what can we do? First' know that the holes are there, whether we can see them or not. Secondly and always, be confident that life is geared up for our success, our completeness. The law of balance. Lastly, in today's world, there is help everywhere. The hole we may find ourselves in may be completely black, but be confident that the light of balance is there. Listen to it calling. Even in our joy. Listen to how special and important we are, and Enjoy.

To go along with all of this: George Michael "Kissing A Fool" Instrumental version

Remember those high school days

Studies are confirming that in the ever evolving world of high school dating, freshman girls and senior boys have the highest chances of successfully partnering up. Meet Brooklyn and Bailey McNight. They are twins presently going to high school. Along with their friend Brian, the girls want to give us some additional insights into the modern high school dating scene.

The Lovebirds’ Rhyme to The Starrkeisha Mass Choir
First we have the song of the lovebirds
Then we have the songs of a mass choir

The Lovebirds’ Rhyme (Shakespearean sonnet)

And all that’s left to mark their time is words
But what are words compared to just one kiss
A kiss to cast some meaning to all this
And this became the music of two birds
-
Two birds whose nest was high above the trees
For these the trees were too far from the skies
And in such skies saw havens for their sighs
The sighs which were the songs amid the breeze
-
And like a breeze their time passed gently by
The by and by of lovebirds who grew old
But old were just the stories which were told
Which told of melodies that make one cry
-
Don’t cry for there’s a meaning to love’s rhyme
A rhyme they’ll sing together for all time

Line by line becomes these lovers' song and the song becomes the rhyme of this Shakespearean sonnet. If one looks closely we will notice that each line gives birth to the next. The last word of a line is repeated in the next. Take the first two lines: "And all that’s left to mark their time is words - But what are words compared to just one kiss" So the rhyme of this sonnet becomes complete. The structure on this sonnet is a metaphor of these lovebirds' live together.

Okay, Arlene is dead now. But what a legacy she has left behind. There are our two amazing children, Peter and Robin. One is going for his Phd in paleontology (all expenses paid). The other as been proclaimed one of the top ten up and coming chefs by Zagat. Then there is that elementary school that became one of San Francisco's best when Arlene became  president of the PTA. She had made so many contributions and set so many memories that the Masons (a male organization) held a funeral reception for her. Then there was me. What an unbelievable life, unbelievable  dream we shared together. There was the teenage love, the dances, the discoveries, the adventures, the shows, the outings, the moments made and on and on. So many, many people saw Arlene off. I miss Arlene. But how can anyone, including me, be sad about such a wonderful life? One Arlene is gone. But, here on earth, Arlene lives on.

Well, that was quite a story. What is our story? Of course we are not Arlene. Arlene was no Emmy Noether (a famous female mathematician) either. In fact, math was one of her weaker areas. I wonder how good of a party planner Emmy was. The point is we are all unique individuals, existing in our unique lives. What we choose to do with the gift given to us will determine how we will be remembered. With our own satisfaction. It could be the smiles we put on another's face. It could be that great change that benefits all of mankind. There is no great or small in the natural order of things. Great and small is a human invention. Here is our challenge: To live a life that is so full that we are satisfied with ourselves. To live a life that is so full that others may miss us, but our fulfillment will echo in joy. And while we discover the gift which is us, Enjoy.

I'm pretty certain that we are not ready for this: Jason Mraz "Love Someone"

What does the chorus say

Dr Maria Sandren, from the University of Stockholm, found that choral singers, particularly women, are happier, more alert and relaxed after a rehearsal. Which brings us ti Cameron J., of Random Structure TV. Camron is not concern with the health benefits of choir singing. His concerns are much higher. Making us laugh.
Will he be successful? "The Starrkeisha Mass Choir! @TheKingOfWeird"

There One Day to Undercover Lyft with Demi Lovato
There in the wonder of their love a couple had lost something
There in the seat of a Lyft passengers would find something

There One Day (English sonnet)

There in the safety of these lovers’ nest
Where perfection seemed to rule the day
And not a problem was allowed to stay
Here every day just passes like the rest
-
Here not a kiss gave reason for dismay
There was no cause for this to be the best
They did not let their dreams disturb their rest
And this is how their lives would drift away
-
And there one day while looking in her eyes
He hears someone he lost so long ago
-
He looks around the lack of some surprise
Was this the paradise they’d come to know
-
He loosed a flame in world where nothing dies
In hopes that something new therein might grow

Surprising the veil that would mask the truth in this English sonnet. As the quatrains lay out, there seems to be nothing but perfection. As the couplets take over, we discover that a problem had been growing. In the end he tries to burn away the problem. Was he successful? The final unwritten lines are our's.

Who would imagine? There was the dancing. The dinners. The parties. Life seemed so exciting. Everything appeared to be going so right. It was on the dance floor of Tingles, one of Arlene's and my favorite dance clubs, that I felt it. Arlene was somehow different. As we went back to the "same old table" with the "same old drinks" (Amaretto and Singapore Sling) and the "same old" faces who were always there, I touched it. It was hard to believe, as active as Arlene and I were. We were so much in love. Overall, life was really good to us. But the sad fact was, Arlene and I had fallen into a rut. As fun as life was, it was the same thing we did last week, and the week before that, and the week before that. It was the excitement that so successfully covered up what was happening. For some, this lifestyle could be quite nice. Arlene and I saw ourselves as trend setters, not going dancing every Friday. And so it was. Where would Arlene and Martin be this weekend? Who knows.

Instead of warning about falling into a rut. keep in mind: "different strokes for different folks." Everyone is different. Some people find strength and comfort in repetition. In an ever changing world, some find security in holding on. Then there are the complete opposites. People who have to feed their excitement to be happy. Then there are all of the shades in between. Which is right? More importantly, which is right for us? "Know thyself." "Above all, to thy own self be true." Find, be aware, know what is important to us. It is our life. And though at times it may not seem like it, we are doing our best. And why do we believe there is so much diversity in our world? So that there might be a place for all of us. So that we all might Enjoy.

And now for some music: Moby & MylĂ©ne Farmer "Slipping Away"

How would you be if Demi Lovato was driving you around

Demetria Devonne "Demi" Lovato is a singer, songwriter, and actress. She made her debut as a child actress in Barney & Friends. Lovato rose to prominence in 2008 when she started in the Disney Channel television film Camp Rock and signed a recording contract with Hollywood Records. Her hit "Don't Forget" debuted at number 2 on the U.S. Billboard 200. Demi became a driver for Lyft. Not for the money, but to bring enjoyment to her fans.
Enjoy the reactions of some of her fans when they find out they've been driven around by Demi Lovato. "Undercover Lyft with Demi Lovato"

Stay Here With Me to Lightsaber Safety
Lovers find a place to let their passions flow safely
Instructions to use a lightsaber safely

Stay Here With Me (acrostic sonnet)

Soft kiss which whispers promises are near
To where our heaven gently lights a dream
Adrift upon imagination’s stream
Yearning turning burning to be here
-
Here where another world awaits outside
Enthralled by all the Joy we have to share
Raise mountains as we lovers take to air
Engaged uncaged assuaging thirst we glide
-
We glide in realms which only lovers know
Its key is hidden safely in our heart
That we may safely let our passions flow
Here with this kiss all other bliss will start
-
Meer memories will echo endlessly
Enjoy forever’s kiss stay here with me

When the Word Wizardry ends two lovers will be off in this acrostic sonnet. Yes, this is a Shakespearean sonnet, as it follow its form. It also is an acrostic poem. In it also are rhymes within rhymes (like: Yearning turning burning).  Also notice that the last word(s) of each quatrain begins the next. When all of this ends, two lovers are off. The meaning of a this: Two lovers escape the fancies of the world.

The San Francisco Bay Area is pretty remarkable. Not only is there plenty to see and experience here, there are worlds waiting within a few hours drive. As glorious as the Bay Area is, there was one world far more glorious. In a canoe with Arlene in my arms. At lovers' lane (Lands End) watching the sun go down. Under a blanket, with Arlene, dreaming in front of the fireplace. Cuddling on the roof, taking in the moon and the stars. Dancing with Arlene in my arms. Listening as Arlene sings me her favorite song. Getting lost in a moment, strolling hand in hand. Enjoying a bad movie. Adventuring in those eyes. And the wonders go on and on. These all sound different, except for this paradox. We have arrived once more. There were many door, but they all opened to a place. A place far more glorious than the Bay Area. Perhaps you have been there.

Aah the world of love. The realm of love. The best I can do is describe what I've seen, what I've experienced, what I've felt. Yet, it falls far short of what you've seen, your experiences, your feelings. It's not that any person's love is grander than another's. It's just that love is an individual thing. The grandest love of all is our love. There is no love grander than ours. Think about it. When anyone tries to express a great love, aren't they trying to spark something within us? As our love is touched, it grows, and it grows, and it grows. It grows beyond our ability to control it. And its facets. The endless things love touches, love effects. And it all starts here. And it is all meant for us to Enjoy.

Back to the sonnet: George Howard "Stay Here With Me"

To all things - Safety First

In George Lucas’s earliest draft of the Star Wars script, the lightsaber was called the laser sword. Luckily that did not stick and they switched it back to lightsaber. Back in 1977 the lightsaber was fictitious. Today, as Star Wars again grows in popularity, people are working to make fiction a reality. Since, in today's world, safety as become a priority, shouldn't we address lightaber safety? Nukazooka  is on it. They have looked at the issue and have put out a valuable safety video.
Valuable if one needs a laugh. "Lightsaber Safety 101"

Pathways to The Vlogfather: Shay Carl
Two lovers search for the secrets of their life
A mafia boss vlogs more than he should of the secrets of his life

Pathways (Shakespearean sonnet)

Oh sing to me of pathways to the heart
Who dances through all thoughts I’ve come to know
Was there a time before we had our start
I gaze at stars for what they might bestow
-
Oh whisper of the breeze you set my way
Whose trances bring to life a fantasy
Was there a time before our yesterday
I gaze at stars and wonder what they see
-
I gaze at stars which fill my heart with hope
Whose glances aren’t so very hard to take
Was there a time before with which to cope
Oh kiss me now and give my mind a break
-
Oh sing to me of pathways to our love
I’ll share it with the timeless stars above

A question unites and guides this Shakespearean sonnet. This sonnet handle conflict a little differently. Rather than being confined to one stanza, they are spread in all of the quatrains, in the form of a line which starts "Was there a time before ...".  In addition to the line, is the word "Oh". "Oh" begins the first two stanzas, only to be relegated to the last line in the third stanza. "Oh" again takes its place in the proclamation of the rhyming couplet. In that proclamation there is no room for conflict.

Aah, those disco days, or should I say daze. Arlene was in charge of clothes shopping. Hers as well as mine. Her sense of fashion was extraordinary. Thanks to Arlene, we were always leaders in fashion. Not followers. Always trend setters. To this, our hair stylist, Ed, was part on our crew. Ed was always ahead of the times with his styles and Arlene and I were his models. Add to this, Arlene and I were members of an "exclusive" dance club. The club threw dance parties in a variety of venues. One of our favorite venues was dancing on the bay. The club would secure a boat with a good sized dance floor, complete with hors d'oeuvres and drinks. It was a calm, clear San Francisco night. On the bay, the stars are much brighter. Then there are the stars in Arlene's eyes, as we danced outside, on the ship's deck. It didn't matter what music was playing, we followed the beat in our heart. Few were the words that left our lips, and these were only to fill the mood. Arlene and I, like the moves in our dance. knew what the other was saying beyond words. As the music went on, everything seemed to disappear. There was only Arlene and me. When we woke from our dream to breath out our experience and revel in the sights and the moment, we couldn't help but notice that other couples were inspired.

We all have magic moments (available). That dance club was as "exclusive" as those willing to pay the fee. Those magic moments are there for those willing to let them happen. Moments just for us, Moments shared with others. Moments that happen right now. Moments that take time to take in. And guess what. These moments are just for us. Specifically just for us. It is up to us to claim them. To make them happen. I am only affirming what most already know. What most already live. Go out into a world of special moments. Magic moments waiting for us to Enjoy.

How about we throw in a little romantic music with all of this: Kim Waters "Love's Melody"

There are some who should maintain their secrecy

Vlog is a form of blog for which the medium is video. The first vlog appeared on January 2, 2000, when Adam Kontras posted a video alongside a blog entry aimed at informing his friends and family of his cross-country move to Los Angeles. Since then many have gotten involved in vlogging. Some who maybe shouldn't. Like the one captured y Studio C.
