Garden Of Dreams to Pixel Cops
A lover solves a starry mystery
Two detectives solve a pixelated mstery

Garden Of Dreams (English sonnet)

I looked to the stars of garden of dreams
Where scents dance with wonder wishes comes true
And canvas of colors passions ensue
The flowers of desire timeless it seems
-
The garden of dreams where seasons undo
Where mists filled with whispers pleasure there streams
And pathway to heaven's promise there gleams
A veil of sheer delight beckons my view
-
Awake or asleep or lost in some sea
A hope of rebirth or sign of demise
-
What draws me calls me to this mystery
Some answers to reason magic denies
-
This garden of dreams which stars brought to me
Is drifting inside the veils of your eyes

A lover discovers the gates to the garden of dreams in this English sonnet. As with most English sonnets this one is divided into two themes of one idea. The quatrains describe  magical garden. The couplets unlock how to get there.

When I was young, I don't remember seeing it. Perhaps I was too immature. Perhaps the experience of being in love was too all encompassing. I would hear about it, Songs and poetry were written about it. I even made up verses about it. There once was a restaurant in San Francisco, on lower Powell Street, called Omar Khayyam's. They served middle eastern food. It was also great for couples, because of the lighting and the atmosphere. I remember asking Arlene what she wanted. As her eyes playfully peered at me over the top of the menu, I saw it. It was real. I forgot everything, but that place. That place in her eyes. Arlene asked what was wrong. But she knew, She knew where I had been. We would favorite Omar Khayyam's until it caught fire. But that place in her eyes was not limited to a restaurant. Now that I had eyes to see, Arlene took me to many wonders.

Where does reality end and imagination start? An interesting question in today'a world. Back in the 60's there was a TV show where people talked to each other, wherever they where, on a wireless communicator. This communicator could also provide information. Now we have cell phones. As an added mind blower, people are texting each other instead of talking. Here's another mind blower. Drs. S. Haroche and D. Wineland got a Nobel Prize for proving that Atoms can be in two different places at the same time. Then there is the theory of the simplicity if the whole and the complexity of it parts. An interesting word we live in today. Who is to say a world cannot be seen in a lover's eyes? Where does imagination end and reality start? I say: As long as no one is hurt, go with it. In other words, as long as it doesn't hurt anyone or anything, allow our imagination its reality. And Enjoy.

Let's take a walk through the garden of dreams: Secret Garden  "Adagio"

Detectives use  their imagination in this imaginative tale of imagination

The Noble Lady to 7 Deadly Sins
The good a purity which is Mother
To the evil which is the 7 deadly sins except 1

The Noble Lady (Poem)

A proud and noble lady she once stood straight and tall
And what the world did offer she smiled and took it all
Her children were her laughter her husband was her wall
And thus she met each season from winter unto fall.
-
What was it made you mother in gloom you fed us light
What made that spark within you a joy to other’s sight
What blessed soul created and made you shine so bright
What kept you there to watch us through all our sleepless night
-
Now time, it has no lovers, no sense of worth or deeds
It sweeps across the vastness in search of its own needs
It ticks away each second It carves away life’s seeds
A wind upon our mem’ries and on our youth it feeds.
-
A proud and noble lady her heart now left to dance
I know she’s playing somewhere you see it in her glance
So patiently she sits there in mem’ries she does prance
And in her loving stories such knowledge she implants
-
What was it made you mother I listen on my knees
What made you strong and faithful to others like to these
What is that strength that formed you and kept your soul at ease
What is it to be like you soft flower among the trees
-
She held my hand so softly and looked into my eyes
A tear she had to offer for all my what’s and whys
She kissed me on my cheek and held me by and by
Just try to be a good son You’ll feel a mother’s sigh

A tribute to a noble lady fills this poem. On closer examination, this poem has two choruses broken up in three stanzas each. Each chorus contains an introduction, a questioning and a resolution.

I wish this poem was about my mother, My mother was much different. My mother was a chilling example of the power of efficient brain washing. My mother was raised by Nazi Germany. When I was born, she had to work in a factory in another city. I was raised by my grandmother and a midwife. When I came to America, I thought this lady was stealing me from my mother. Her husband, my stepfather, was very abusive. He ruled the household with fear. When I entered junior high school, my mother would introduce me to racism, My Jewish friends were not permitted in the house and I was physically discouraged from seeing them again. When my mother met Mr. Land, the teacher who would change my life and a black man, she would never again come to any of my performances. Arlene was Filipino. That went over real big with my mother. More important than school was my ability to work and do my share to support the family. I was 15 when my mother broke free of her abusive husband. I rejoined her almost a year later, At the age of 17 I moved out on my own. In college, I had an amazing councilor, Mr. Grosskopf. He was a child of Nazi Germany too. Through many discussions he taught me to see my mother. Through his help I saw what this woman was going through. My respect for her grew and grew. I never loved my mother, but I respect her.

I like to say, life is like a roller coaster. It has its ups and downs. There are moments of excitement and moments to catch our breath. There are times that we are having great fun and times when we wonder, what am I doing here. If you are one of happy souls who has little or no problems in their life, consider yourself blessed. Most people a dealing with at least one challenge. When one challenge is solved another one (or ones) is waiting around the corner. There is always help available. Remember though, we are all individuals. What works for one may not work for another or it may need a little adjustment. One thing a lot of us sometimes forget or take for granted are those moments we take our breath. When life is going fine. These can be brief moments or they can last for days. Hold fast, treasure, rejoice in these moments. They can see us through the rough times. They are hopes, promises, reassurances of better times. They are a unique strength that we build. And as our ride goes on, Enjoy.

The seven deadly sins date back to the late sixth century, when Pope Gregory the Great reduced the worst sins man can make to seven ones. The folks at Studio C take a closer look at these banes to mankind. For who knows more about our plagues than a comedy troop?

Dark Clouds Try to Wonder Woman vs Stevie Wonder
In a battle with darkness a soul finds refuge in his lover's eyes
But there is no refuge in a rap battle between Wonder Woman and Stevie Wonder

Dark Clouds Try (English sonnet)

Dark clouds which try my day into a night
A scent of music toys with your dismay
A rainbow bridge casts Joy on your display
The tears you rain are springs of sheer delight
-
Your plume of gloom which steals the sun away
Cannot touch or mar this vision bright
Whose plume could groom the heavens to incite
And turn the night you bring back into day
-
Storm storm your anger in a passing rage
Blow blow of moments lost down empty streets
Weep weep with feeling stirred in senseless guise
-
Yet pointless is the battle which you wage
As in your shadow dream filled meaning beats
For I am dancing in my lover’s eyes

Darkness cannot penetrate this English sonnet. We should be a little confused in the quatrains. This is because evil is battling good. Evil gets a bit more serious as the triplets arrive. In the last triplet we find the source of the good's power.

This sonnet is a tribute to my wife, Amor. I had a great body. Not so much for its looks, but for its performance. I rarely got sick, I could go for years without catching a cold. I was and remained physically active. This probably explains why I can eat all I want without gaining weight. Once I met my teacher, Mr. Land, my life turned pretty amazing. I have been blessed to do things most people only dream about. I have been garnered with many awards and praises for my achievements. It is now payback time for a life ever so well spent. I now find myself in a complete reversal of what I once was. Yet I have one more blessing by my side. My wife, Amor. As depressing as my situation has become. it has to contend with Amor. Waylaying depression is as easy as thinking about Amor. How will tomorrow be? It just doesn't matter. I have Amor by my side. It is hard to convince me that miracles do not exist. Considering what happened to me. What are the chances that a person so perfect for my situation comes into my life? And she's good looking too.

Life is strange. The more we think we know about it, the more we find out we do not know about it. Here is a riddle about life. "Live in the now." How many times have we heard that? Even I am guilty of saying it. Living in the now is impossible for humans. For us there is only the future or the past. We reflect on the past and move to the future. There is no now for us. I like to refer to a picture. A moment in time. Captured. Proof that it exists. Yet the way we take in our existence, we are constantly playing catch up with what was. Something stimulates our senses. It travels to the brain for processing. By the time we are aware. that something is in the past, Strange isn't it? Yet somehow we can live in the now. And while we figure that one out, Enjoy.

Let's take this now to enjoy a wonder of life: Elmara "Sky In Your Eyes"

Talk about wonder - Let's have two Wonder have at it

Rap battle, a type of rapping that includes bragging and boasting content, is generally believed to have originated in the East Coast hip hop scene in the late 1970s. One of the earliest and most infamous battles occurred in December 1982 when Kool Moe Dee challenged Busy Bee Starski. Busy Bee Starski's defeat by the more complex raps of Kool Moe Dee and won the day. Now we have Wonder Woman taking on Stevie Wonder.
You pick the winner. "Wonder Woman vs Stevie Wonder. Epic Rap Battles of History."

Turning to the Sunset to Yoda sings "Seagulls"
A couple's song fades into sunset
A Jedi's song marks a new dawn

Turning to the Sunset (round)

So funny now the day’s gone by
I sit beside my widow view
And all the flowers born anew
Within reflection there I sigh
-
Once gallant knight a damsel woo
The dance that never had an end
A romance shared would never bend
The twilight’s mist the morning’s dew
-
Such mem’ries force me to attend
The truth of things that we had done
A couple whom oft ballads song
And through it all you were my friend
-
Of you I rise up to the sun
Another card still left to play
To take me back to yesterday
Just one more time perhaps then done
-
The sun is ebbing past the day
I rise to find the reason why
Alone I go for you I try
I love you dear my acts will say
-
I knew them and they passed this way

A timeless tale of love is lost forever in this round. A round is a poem that has no beginning or end.  In this round the rhymes of lines 2 and 3 rhyme with lines 1 and 4 of the next stanza. The last stanza leads back to the first. The poem doesn't mention what went wrong. At the height of the poem (stanza 3), notice the rhyme in line 2 and 3 is off. This is almost unnoticeable. Maybe that's where the problem started.

It was years later. Discos had been closed for some time now. The disco stars (Arlene and I) were now parents. In our disco days there was the Crew (a group of friends who hung together). In the Crew were our hair stylists, Ed and his partner Sherrie. One Sunday evening, Ed wanted to come over to see Arlene and I. It had been a while since we had seen each other and he wanted to meet the family. Ed had become quite successful and now owned a hair salon of his own. As we talked about all that brought us here, Ed went back to the disco days. Through a series of "remember whens", he brought those days back to life. Here we were, almost 10 years later, preparing for another night out on the town (in our mind). It was fun. Then it dawns on Arlene and I, though we didn't say anything to Ed, where's Sherrie (his partner)? It turns out Ed and Sherrie were no longer together. No one knew why. Ed was for others a valued key to the good old days, enriched by the tales of a hair salon. Ed would come back every now and then to take us back.

We must be careful not to be trapped in cycles. Cycles are repetitions that require little to no thought, like brushing  our teeth, writing our name, walking and things like that. The human brain stores things we tend to do so that it can be done unconsciously in order to free the mind for other things. Ordinarily this can be a useful benefit. It is a function of the brain to establish patterns. When this may become a warning sign is when we do the same things over and over again: like eating at the same restaurant, seeing the same kind of movies, "doing the same old thing this weekend" and things like that. Do we really like these "things" or is the brain doing what comes naturally to it? Interesting riddle. Riddle. because the brain can be programmed to want to do unfamiliar things. The unfamiliar becomes the norm. Still, this is a cycle. In all cycles who or what is in control? Are we growing? Are we (not the brain) happy? Be aware. Take a breath. Enjoy.

There is one cycle I will not fight = romance: Marisi "Cantoma"

All Yoda fans raise your hands or wings

Grand Jedi Master Yoda is among the oldest and most powerful known Jedi Masters in the Star Wars universe. Series creator George Lucas opted to have many details of the character's life history remain unknown. Since Grand Jedi Master Yoda's history is so unknown, the folks at Bad Lip Reading suggested that he might have been a singer.
If Grand Jedi Master Yoda was a singer he might have maybe perhaps sounded like this. "'SEAGULLS! (Stop It Now); -- A Bad Lip Reading of The Empire Strikes Back"

A Moment to The One Moment
A flower's scent brings a moment to life
Slow motion photography brings a moment to life

A Moment (Shakespearean sonnet)

A song of flowers floating mid the air
Will cast a moment in the evermore
A moment which a heaven’s dream did bear
A moment which tomorrows were made for
-
The whispers of this moment fills the breeze
Whose beauty blossoms always in our heart
There truly were such memories as these
Where fantasies of moments have their start
-
Sing on oh earthbound starlets of this time
For twilight waits the sweetness of our flow
Forever waits this verse of lovers’ rhyme
For seasons yet to come a song will know
-
What sacred scent brought life to flowers’ bliss
A moment set in splendor of a kiss

A lover reaches to recapture a flower's moment in this Shakespearean sonnet. What on earth could this person be talking about? There seems to be some substance to it. Yet as each stanza closes we float on in a flower. scent. Then at the end of the rhyming couplet it all makes perfect sense. Of course.

Funny that I use flowers as reference to couples. Stick with me on this one. Every guy courting a girl brings her flowers every now and again. Right? Wrong. Not if she doesn't like flowers, I used to bring Arlene flowers. Then I found out her mother took care of them, because Arlene didn't really like them. Etiquette prevented her from telling me directly. I figured it out eventually and gave her candy instead, The story gets more fun. There were the dances, A guy presented his date a corsage or a wristlet and I did (even when I found out Arlene didn't like flowers). When we moved to our "Palace in the Sky" we were invited to dance. Arlene was very excited. At the dance, something was wrong. Arlene was not herself. I remembered how Arlene had saved all the flowers from our past dances. We had to go to this big dance at the Filipino Community Center. I got Arlene a corsage for the occasion. Arlene didn't want to go to the dance, but one couldn't tell it. Motivated by a more sparkling beauty and a few more kisses, this boy was able to figure it out: Arlene wasn't turned on by flowers, except as fashion accessories.

Gift are fascinating challenges. We can give a child whatever is in fashion and that is that. What about an adult or a loved one? I'm from the school of thinking that believes: It's mot how much a gift cost, but the amount of thinking and/or effort that gives it value. This doesn't mean an excuse to be cheap. If the best gift is expensive, the best gift is expensive. But is this really the best gift? The best gift I ever got was my wife under the Christmas tree clad only in a ribbon well suited to let the imagination run wild. The best gift I ever gave was a warm colorful blanket for my mother. So every time she used it to keep warm, she would be reminded of a son who loved her. Gifts with that added extra require a little more from us, The good news is the computer makes the whole process a lot easier. Not only are these gifts great to receive, because the added effort rings through, but they are fun to get and give. So the next time we get someone a gift, why not take that extra step and Enjoy.

How about a song about flowers: The Sandpipers "Misty Rose"

Dream At Night to The KENZOxHM show
Imagination leads a lover to a dream of a different sort
Imagination leads a fashion show of a different sort

Dream At Night (Martin verse)

To walk and talk and dream at night
Was all he ever had in sight
A simple life was his delight
This man of modest appetite
-
But trouble comes in many forms
A passing breeze which masks the storms
A passing glance as passion swarms
For some alarm but him it warms
-
And so with her he passed the night
Where kisses came like passing storms
Imagination loosed in swarms
Enough to feed their appetite
-
And so for her his love thus forms
And to all else he loses sight
She didn’t share in his delight
A sense of danger quickly warms
-
Shear madness has an appetite
Our darkness oft is its delight
It bore his vision into sight
To walk and talk a dream at night

Love turns to madness in this Martin verse. Want to write a Martin verse? Come up with four rhyming words. Then come up with four different rhyming  words. Follow this pattern: A1 A2 A3 A4 - B1 B2 B3 B4 - A1 B2 B3 A4 - B1 A2 A3 B4 - A4 A3 A2 A1. The last stanza are the rhyming words of the first stanza in reverse order.

I did make this poem a little extreme. We did have this friend, Jeff. Jeff was a bar hopper, when it came to picking up girls. He met a young lady who sparked his delight. He started seeing her on a steady manner. Jeff even introduced her to Arlene and I. With time, Jeff started to fall in love with her. This is where the fun started. The girl seemed to like going out with Jeff, but love was something she was not ready for,  Rather than discussing their relationship or simply cutting things off, she started acting really strange. According to Jeff, she started to let herself go. Jeff felt like she was ordering him around. Strangest of all, she smelled like cigarettes. Jeff is a nonsmoker. He never remembered seeing her smoke, or that odor, before the change. The relationship was over. No, she did not (literally) kill Jeff.

Here is an interesting riddle: Two individuals joining up to create a family, a team. Two people with lives, and all that goes with it, of their own, join together to create something new. In the beginning love casts its spell to smooth out many of our differences. Will love continue to bless a couple with its merging mist? Whether it does or doesn't, I believe one of the strongest glues of a relationship is communications, talking as well as listening. If a concern arises don't be afraid to talk about it. Do not depend on it going away on its own. Listen to what the other person is saying. Use all your energy to take it in. Try not to form any opinion while listening. As a team try to build to a solution. Every once in a while ask your partner's opinion. Good communication skills may not solve every challenge. It is a wonderful exchange of ideas. Ideas to make a relationship grow. And as we flower, Enjoy.

How does a fashion designer communicate their skills - A fashion show

Kenzo in the 1970s decide to go up against the standard expectations of seasonal trends. They are said to be highly influenced by the environment of the 21st century. They collaborate with avant-garde artists, musicians, actors, and designers each collection. In keeping with their constant challenge of the standards of their times Kenzo has orchestrated a fashion show, like one no one has seen before.
Are we ready for this? "KENZOxHM SHOW"
